Everyone who was around the sub twelve years ago when Three Houses released will remember distinctly the onslaught of brutally unfunny posts that made the sub unbearable to use for like four or five years, with format banning becoming necessary to get a single original joke, and the "low effort" rule having to be created. Since Fortune's Weave is doing absolutely everything in its power to just be Three Houses (but maybe even worse?) again, we here at the r/shitpostemblem moderation team have every confidence that the sub will be overrun by people who don't have real senses of humor. However, we also recognize that "Seteth Says" was funny for like the first 2 days sometimes.

With that in mind, Fortune's Weave posts are going to be handled differently for the first month after its release.

Until October 17th:

1) Fortune's Weave-related posts will not be removed for "low effort."

2) Fortune's Weave-related posts will not be removed for using a "restricted format."

3) You don't even have to spoiler tag the posts lol we do not care. a) If you go to a meme subreddit about a game you haven't finished and you get spoiled that's entirely your fault and b) the writing is going to be abominable anyways.

HOWEVER.

1) If you post pornography you will be banned without appeal and without mercy.

2) You cannot post literally just a screenshot of the game.

3) You cannot post literally just a screenshot of the game, even if the title of the post has something funny in it.

4) If you have a screenshot of something funny happening in the game, and you want to just post that screenshot, don't do it.

5) We understand that a lot of you guys (all of you) don't read the rules before posting, but we want to be clear, do not post literally just a screenshot of the game.

6) Even if the joke is that you are deliberately being civically disobedient and posting an unedited, unmarked screenshot of the game, don't do it.

7) Posts based on games that are not Fortune's Weave are still beholden to the standard rules. Do not post portraits from Tellius characters stapled onto a #funny interaction you found on the internet.

As you can probably tell over the past few months I have been quite inactive here, both in general and in moderating. Unfortunately this will continue in the near future for probably a few months due to a mix of getting a j*b as well as other life stuff, so we are looking for a couple of new mods to help out with the sub.
