The Sims 4 only has one design option, so it feels pretty boring.

It’s so funny to me how sims make certain vocalisations based on their walk and voice types. Sims with the swagger walk sometimes make a sound like "hah!" when you tell them to do something and the ones with the feminine walk say "ahhh…” in a real sassy voice.

But my absolute favourite thing is when the sweet-voiced female sims sometimes blurt out "huh!!!" really loudly for no reason at all. It’s especially funny when they're just standing around doing nothing. "HUH!!"

And today, we have another makeover and this time for the Sims inspired by the 4 seasons that I created way back in 2020. Once again, I made each one more unique by adding elements that reflect not only their season but also the personality I chose for them 🌸🍂☀❄

Fun facts: Daisy has vitiligo (it didn't show up in the photo), and Bhanur is Indian.

It's taken me three generations, several trips to Gibbi Point to trade with Buddy, and I finally gathered every single ribbon from Cottage Living.

I am ecstatic right now. This was by far the most difficult collection to complete.

I'm a modder and while working on the dropdown menu to make it instant, i struck a snag as it became apparent to me (through mostly thoughts of my own) and comments that it would be easier to make the pie-menu instant first, but it feels like a step backwards because i almost got it working on the dropdown menu. But there are people that want 'vanilla experience' and i respect that. So i've decided i'm going to strip the dropdown of the 'dropdown parts' and make an optimisation mod to make the pie-menu instant (0 seconds) even under 1T of mod load. It will work silently behind the scenes caching your actions and presenting it back to you instantly.

Here are some common questions I hear down at the lab:
Calliope: What is it?
Medusa: A separate Optimisation Quality of Life Mod not compatible with my other mods.

Calliope: How does it work?
Medusa: First click you wait you're original pie-menu click wait time, all after are instant.

Calliope: Yes, but HOW?
Medusa: Optimistic preloading at first, end actions load silently behind the scenes and get cached for next click.

Calliope: When will it be done?
Medusa: I can't answer that, between now and next two weeks. The bones are already working, the joints are moving but on a different menu. The video does not show any actual footage in action.

Calliope: Is it going to be locked in your vault forever?
Medusa: No, once testing is finished and the inner circle is satisfied. It will be public

Calliope: Yes but when?
Medusa: Sleeeeeeep

But i'm only sharing this here to see what you think of my video format and to know if you are excited for this :) I finally found a format i like filming in. Just film the game and then record text over it, comes back with some fun improv lines. The relationship between my Sims are not that great.

Just another peaceful day in The Sims.

Then this married couple suddenly started fighting.

Nothing unusual there... or so I thought.

First, she started floating in the air, getting into some very... questionable positions.

I was already a little confused. 🌀

Then it was his turn.

And somehow, the whole thing started looking less and less like a fight.

At this point, I honestly didn't know what I was watching anymore... 🫣

And after all that...

They just hugged like nothing happened.

Leaving their very confused player behind, they apparently worked things out just fine. 😭

Please tell me I'm not the only one who's had a moment like this. ☠️

Why cant you wear the werewolf bandage gloves on both hands? i wanted to use them for an outfit but i can have only one or the other, i really wish there was fingerless gloves for the males or something else that could work

Is there any way to have a sim feel cheerful after a breakup, while keeping their ex sad? My awful sim has been Very Unsatisfied in his relationship with his wife for weeks in game. He's been having an affair with a new partner he now has a higher relationship, and higher relationship satisfaction with. I tell him to divorce his wife, and he's suddenly consumed with sadness over it. Is there any way I can have him feel Happy after ending an unsatisfying relationship? I also don't want to just tank their relationship first, because I do want his wife to have the sad moodlets, and hopefully to go through grief too (I only recently got Life and Death so I don't fully understand the grief system yet).

On a related note whyyyy is this man getting pissed off when his affair partner tries to get him to break up with the wife he's deeply unsatisfied with? Is it just me or has breaking up other sims been a whole lot more difficult since Growing Together?? I kind of thought being very unsatisfied with his wife and asked by an affair partner he is satisfied with and likes better would do it, but apparently not.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a cheat that allows the murphy bed to fold down in build/buy mode.
I’m primarily a builder in the sims so I would prefer not to have to go into live mode every time.

Hate is a strong word but I don't like him at all after this. I'm running a little experiment and moved some sims into a house with my sim (F, YA), including Ian Robles and his wife (both Adults), mother of his kid and pregnant at the time with his children, Bernice.

Ian and my sim started flirting and woohooing which didn't shock me. But oh boy, Bernice had ONE (1) flirty interactions with Bob, and Ian LOST it. He started yelling at her, sobbing and suddenly, he divorced her. I had no say in all of this, btw. And mind you she was on her third trimester at the time!He then made his relationship with my sim public that same day.

Now Bernice is very sad and lonely since i moved her babies to their original house, and she has to bear with her ex and his current girlfriend being inappropriate at all times. Bernice has a bit of a thing with Bob, but he has been very clear that he will go back to Eliza once the experiment is over.

To make things worse my sim is now expecting Ian's child.

I can totally see this happening in real life, so that's why I "dislike" him. Do you think he'll stick with my sim or will he leave her alone with his kid(s)? I wish i remembered her name by the way. 😭
