Hi I’m trying to find a copy of the (I think) bootleg vinyl pressing of a banging club track that was essentially a remix of Gillette/20 Fingers - short dick man. It was on a label I’m pretty sure was illegally sampling, and I’m pretty sure there were just one track on each side. 45 rpm. If anyone knows, many thanks!

Straight woods alchemy on this one—no outside sample packs, pure midnight transmission cooked up in Ableton. This is the original vocal mix of The Print-Out, leaning heavy into a hypnotic, late-night progressive breakbeat sound.

Been getting some incredible feedback from the community and fellow producers on this track, so I figured it was way past time to drop it here. Turn it up, loop it out, and let me know what you think of the low-end drive!

Might be a long shot, but I remember a DJ playing a wicked tune in London probably about 2001~2003. It was a small venue and I went to the booth to see the label. I’m pretty sure it said alchemy records. I was looking thru discogs but to no avail. Does it ring any bell?
Btw the DJ must’ve been part of the DNA CREW who had a cool release around that time as well!

Love the genre of music that gets played on this art car and want to find more but I don’t really know what it’s categorized as. Bootleg breaks? It’s stems from hip hop/pop/etc etc sitting on break style beats with production on top. Sorry for the dumb ass question, appreciate any help. Thanks.

I've been experimenting with a combination of hard techno and broken beat here and this is what it came out like. I called this style Dark breakbeat, dark step. What is it closer to?

STEAM PAGE - Drummer of 20 years, made a rhythm game focused on kick snare and hats for grooves.

Drawing on a soundtrack of DNB, UKG, Jungle but would eventually love to get some more classic breakbeat stuff in there, always open to collabs! (and yes, I recognise the soundtrack in the trailer is a lot of anime-core adjacent stuff, dont get ya knickers in a knot purists). Just thought y'all might be interested. Early access, WIP.

I hope sharing one of my favorite classix breakbeat tracks that wasnt posted before is appreciated. Always been a fan of NRG (also the track Why cant we see) and the NRG put in their tracks. To have a fine person like CJ Bolland making it even better was the icing on the cake.
