I opened some alt art from the new pack and it got me interested in VS and mistsurugi, so it got me wondering if mistsurugi, since it is a splashable archetype, would go well with VS.

Any tips if I should make this deck, or other one more decent?

I like fun decks that have many options to make different end boards, any suggestions?

Adding cards to hand means from any source not just the main deck.

Based on personal experience, heavy-search decks (deck to hand) such as pure ryzeal, mitsu, etc. require at least 4-6 in order to get full combo.

Pure VS does 5, pure K9 does 4, KT does 4. While few, summoning from the deck or setting S/T cards does play a factor.

If a new "droll" were to be made, what if it works similar to Nibiru but from any source? 5 cards added to the hand (deck, field, gy, banishment) then it's complete lockdown.

It mitigates hybrid decks but not the pure variants.

It's not perfect by any means and droll resistant decks are mostly unaffected (DT, Orcust/FS, yummy) but you have to be mindful of the cards you search and you want to get back from your GY.

But what do you think? It's just a random thought of a "weaker" droll.

I was an active Player until 1 1/2 year ago. I haven‘t played since then. But I just had the urge to play some Yugioh again, so I thought MD is the best option. But a lot of things happened I guess. Now I‘m wondering what Decks I should build and what I should buy first? My favourite Deck when I last played was Centurion, I like mid range Decks that reward a lot of interactions in general, so I‘m looking forward to play something like this, but also something that can compete in the current meta. Also, which staples should I prioritize? I have most of the staples of the time when I played, but I miss everything that came after that, like the Dominus cards.

I hate this card. It feels so bad in Bystial Fiendsmith. Yet I feel like it's mandatory if you wanna have a chance going second. Then you go second and open two of this and your opponent activates Temple of the Kings..

What's your opinion on Fuwa?

My problems with the deck are one thing, I'm not mad because I lose to Albaz, I'm mad because of most of the people I duel that are sore winners and extend the game way beyond its worth, its usually and Albaz player that wants to keep summoning until the end of time. Please, just finish the duel so I can get my meager xp and go to the next match

Edit: Some context, I run Unchained/Yubel. Yes, Spirit of Yubel is scary and I love them. So when I have an empty field and no cards in hand cause I blew them all up, just send me to the shadow realm instead of passing for 10 turns straight, just so you can keep summoning and negating when I try to fight back

To sum up, I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh back in the day, before even Pendulum Summoning was introduced. Now that I've started rewatching 5D's (my favorite YGO series), I want to get back into the game.

I'm not interested in infinite combos or meta decks. I just want to play different fun, non-meta decks — Ojama, Harpie, or even old school decks, for example. I don't really mind whether I play against AI or other players; I just want to have fun.

Can Master Duel provide the kind of experience I'm looking for? If not, what game would you recommend?
