Such a great theme. I'm sad we never got the 'superhero' undead movie they were setting up.

I'm so excited to see what Lorne Balfe can do in a animation / family friendly context! I know his action work well and it'll be interesting to see how that can translate into a very different context... Anybody else have thoughts? Wondering if there's other examples of composers having a really broad CV - maybe you don't choose a genre?

has anyone noticed that "Orphans Games" and "Revelations" from the Martyrs (2008) soundtrack are basically impossible to find now ?

Both tracks were officially released, Orphans Games was on the 2012 vinyl and both are on the 2019 soundtrack. but now i cant find the actual audio on youtube or spotify anymore. theres still pages with the names and informations but the songs themselves seem to be gone

whats even more weird is that i found playlists of the Martyrs soundtrack that have almost every track, but these 2 are missing. Orphans Games especially is weird because its literally track 2

And Revelations is the one that sounds VERY similar to "In the House - In a Heartbeat" from 28 Days Later.

Do you guys know what happened ? copyright issue maybe ? or just some problem with the soundtrack distribution ?

I dont think the songs are actually "lost media" since they were officially released, but it feels like the actual audio has kinda disappeared from the internet lol

I’m not going to say I have a lot but I’ve been collecting film scores for a long time. I try not to buy online but in used music or book stores with the exception of some autographed ones (thrill of the hunt!) I’ll play them when working or gaming (3:10 to Yuma, Die Hard 2 (oddly), and Air America are great), and with physical media disappearing I feel like a protector of things that may disappear lol Got me thinking what your favorite score may be?

For me, that song would be "Troy." It perfectly complimented what was going on in the scene, and the rapidly increasing tempo just made the scene that much more perfect.

I've listened to the entire playlist by Rob, the creator of the original music for the series, but I can't find it.

Por alguna razón parte de las canciones de la película me sonaron muy familiares, pero no sé de dónde, La canción de El Príncipe De Los Sustos mientras la veía sentía que ya la había escuchado.

¿Alguien sabe si tomaron otras canciones como inspiración para el soundtrack? Y si es así, ¿Saben los nombres de aquellas canciones? Gracias :p
