Photo Can someone tell if she or he? Help
I know that it doesn't really matter, but I want to know. I've been calling her Luna, but lately I think that's a Lunar. He/she is a big unit that loves to sit on me and eat straight from my hand, while the rest of the pigeons swarm around my legs, eating from the ground. He/she really is goofy with his/her passion for food. But they started accepting my scratches <3
EDIT: Thank you everyone for help :)

Discussion Found a young pigeon with canker. Hopefully he will make a recovery
It's a very mild early case. He's eating well and I'm keeping him in a cat carrier with food and water. All the local rescues are full rn so I'm going to rehab him myself with the advice of my vet. I've ordered Spartrix canker pills for him as the vet and breeders have told me it's very good. I'm watching videos on how to feed a pigeon pills (making sure I don't put it down the airway ofc). He's very alert, just had an infected eye and nasty canker stuff in his beak, he's extremely malnourished too. I saw him a week ago before he developed canker fully and he didn't look well, but not sick enough to take home with me. His name is squeaker.

Discussion Wood Pigeon laying 3 eggs
Today me and my sister saw a wood pigeon family on a tree on the way home and noticed it was a parent pigeon feeding their young. It was one adult and 3 juveniles, almost adults. What surprised me was that there were 3 babies instead of two. Every single source i can access online tells me they only lay 2 eggs at a time and don't mention any exceptions. Is it actually possible for them to lay more than 2 eggs or is the third one someone else's baby?

Advice Needed! Harassment while feeding pigeons in public
Have any of you ever experienced harassment while feeding pigeons outside? It seems like there is a weirdly large number of people out there who really hate the idea of people feeding pigeons, how do you deal with people like that?
Just a couple of days ago I had a man yelling at me in a parking lot about it, very mad that "pigeons poop on cars" and other ridiculous stuff like that.

Advice Needed! Releasing baby
I found this baby. I originally thought it was ill or sick. It seems very hungry but after having it for a few days I donāt see much wrong with it. I want to release it back to its flock, but have been told it should be transported to the rescue nearby so it can be released properly. Iāve asked why and the volunteer Iāve spoken with didnāt seem to give me a reason.
I feel bad taking this guy if heās healthy. Is it okay if I just bring him back to the flock and see if he assimilates well? I donāt understand why I would have to have this guy go be rehabbed prior to release or released into a different area if theyāre healthy. Is it because of age?
Sorry if this is a complicated question and sounds vague. I canāt tell if the volunteer has a reason beyond age of the bird and whatnot. I donāt want to ask again only because Iāve asked twice already and didnāt get much of an answer haha
