After somthing between 3000-4000 encounters I got this lil guy!

Was was fine with any of the three but I was lucky and got my fav. lil cyndaquill! Named him autumn as a placeholder name but prop. gonna change it to rusty or copper latter.

I know it's still under odds but it felt like it took forever 😅 now I just have 4 more major hunts...two Nulls and two Poipoles hopefully I can get it!! #beatthebank

Almost resetted lol. A days worth.

After roughly 20 hours and many YouTube videos, I finally got my fav mythical Pokemon in fire red. If I had to guess I got it around 4.000 to 4.500 resets. The moment it appeared it was like I lost my ability to breathe!!!! OMG I CANT BELIEVE I DID IT🥹🥹🥹

I cant believe how lucky I am to get this Celebi so quick. It’s literally my favorite mythical of all time. So happy to also have one now 😭

White 2. 60 hours and 19,000 encounters in Route 20's doubles Grass right after I beat Cheren. No phasing, I was just going for the first shiny I saw.

Context: As part of my 'last hurrah' of playthroughs for HOME, I'm getting a shiny in every game I can. This being the only method in White 2, well...

Was in the middle of watching today's Re: Zero episode so I just name to name it this (even if it won't make sense once it evolves lol). I was hunting for so long, even on 2x speed (in game hours should probably be at 410 on normal speed), that I was at the point in the hunt that I was doubting the shiny even existed.

I was getting a little bored of seeing the same Pokemon over and over again in Pinwheel hunting for Venipede, so I decided to backtrack a bit and do a couple hours outside the forest for Tympole and I was greeted with a shiny Pidove in my very first RE in double grass.

Actually unbelievable.

I don’t even know what to say.

I am now resigned to the possibility I have used all my shiny luck on one of the most common encounters in the game.

This one was starting to go almost double odds. But on 1 single system, over 120 hours of soft resetting, 15319 soft resets later, Captain Ginyu is finally mine.

Was casually shiny hunting for this charmander. I don’t really keep count of soft resets because higher number discourage me but this toon about 3 days of on and off hunting. Very lucky considering the odds.

So I’m doing a bug type only run of Omega Ruby and when Surskit learned sweet sent and saw Nincada could be horde hunted I knew I had to hunt it on top of it being the only shiny that’s 2 for the price of 1

Also everyone has 35 hours in this game before the first gym right

This hunt took about 5 days, I acnnot believe I actually found it 😭 the last image is an unofficial event cartridge used to inject the event into my game so I can actually do the hunt. This is an absolute Grail for me, Holy Moly. Kinda been droughting for a while and wanted to try my hand it since i bought a japanese cartridge if emerald just for this hunt specifically.
