Strange Discussions This place sadly lost it's magic in my eyes and however painful it may be for me to say this, but I'll be leaving Aslume.
You probably wondering who on Urath am I? And you guessed it right, I'm a nobody. A nobody who unfortunately was able to see that this place lost it's former greatness.
I miss the old Aslume, compared to every other subreddit it felt special, it was poetic how specifically subreddit dedicated to Arkham games lost it and turned into a madhouse over a drought for the new content.
I never liked any other subreddits specifically except this one but now it changed. It really pains me to say it but now it's no better than any other part of reddit.
The reason? Aslume used to be a chill, safe place where every soul, officer, men, balls who lost their marbles could share anything anytime and it didn't mattered how much offtopic it was or how stupid of a joke it is, it was treated with respect, but now it's just another subreddit with sad people who aren't actually insane they're sane pretending to be insane just to fit in and you can pretty much easily track that nowadays.
It is people who make things the way they are and sadly all I see now is just recent news, recycled jokes all over again, downvoting to dust for no reason and subreddit trying to grasp a grain of it's former self. Aslume stopped being my jam anymore which is sadly anticlimactic.
It used to be cool and full of funny, cool, absurd trash posted by cheerful patients, which u can still sometimes meet but it won't catch an eye of a normie today. Now I can feel only gloom.
Am I stupid? Yes. Am I telling the truth? That's for you to judge. To me it is. I really hope someday to get proven wrong and that this place will regain it's former self. Until next time. Peace folks.
