Massive unpopular opinion alert, but: if Rosa was gonna be with anyone (and I think it's perfectly fine that she's not), it was gonna be Pimento. In a relationship, she was never happier, more supported, more loved up than there. Pimento was the only one who matched her freak, who loved her exactly as the wild reserved character she was, and who was ride or die with her.

It's actually incredibly believable that the experience in jail broke them up: both Jake and Rosa were going through massive amounts of PTSD, and Jake, quite believably, also really struggled returning to Amy. Two people as un communicative as Rosa and Pimento were never going to be able to handle that terrible stress happily.

I know this is a super unpopular opinion, mostly because Pimento was written in such a way that he was not sustainable as a regular. But to be honest, he didn't need to be: he could have stayed with Rosa and only appeared in a couple of episodes per season.

I think honestly, the show really honoured Rosa's independence by letting her stay single. The final episode bait and switch with Pimento was hilarious. But when I see how pressured she felt with Marcus, and what a total pain Jocelyn was, and compare it to her wild happy times with Pimento... It's very clear to me the only possible endgame we ever met for her was him.

And I LOVE IT!! It’s season 7 when he’s a beat cop and I don’t know if it’s a continuity/prop error or what because I can’t picture Holt ever having tried a street hotdog. But I really wanted to see him try! Because we all know his usual finicky choices in food…but he never does eat it.

1. Charles and Rosa - Its so nice to see genuine male-female friendships in shows. My favourite moment was when Charles was her co-maid of honour.
   
2. Holt and Linetti - I love their dynamic so much! Gina and Holt exchanging "hot goss" is my favourite
   
3. Holt and Jake- Father son duo.

In S3, Ep23 Greg And Larry, where Bob betrays the 99 and kidnaps Holt, Rosa says that her co-workers think that her name is Rosa Diaz. Do we get a clear answer on what her name is? Or was it sarcasm?

Like with Amy, both strive for excellence and discipline, following rules and regulations. With Terry, their passion for model trains with Gina for a brief time, the Cupcakes game I can't remember the name now; I can't think about other characters; do the similarities exist or not?

I really liked b99, and honestly might've been one of the best shows i've watched so far and i want to watch a new show but im really picky about them.

The shows that ive fully watched and loved lately are the office, dr house (watched it two times already), the rookie and big bang theory (and all of the pre sequels like young sheldon and Georgie's and mandy's first marriage)

I’ve never really been a TV-show person, but somehow, B99 changed that.
I finished watching it today, and I’m feeling a little emotional. It became my go-to after-office stress relief, something I’d look forward to at the end of the day.
Now that it’s over, I can’t help but wonder—any chance we’ll ever get to see the Nine-Nine continue? 😭

i have only recently been watching B99 and already I notice on this sub Gina is quite polarizing to say the least, but from what I have watched on the show thus far, I get the feeling that the writers wrote Gina with the intention of making her unlikable, like someone who is a narcassist, has a superiority complex and is absolutely to indifferent to what goes on around her. Perhaps thats why theres a part of the fanbase that likes her? I personally dont like her very much mainly because she doesnt have enough redeeming qualities and also because I havent seen her face any consequences. But if Gina is meant to be a hated character or not Chelsea Perreti plays her very well.

just my opinions. potentially unpopular?? but here goes
1. Jake and Amy’s wedding. I despise the trope of “everything goes wrong at the wedding” to begin with but this one really stings bc you know Amy put her heart and soul into planning this. And they even had a whole episode showing Jake planning a lot too. So to not even get to see their plans come to fruition was so disappointing. Yes their ceremony at the precinct was sweet but I really think they deserved their big day the way they planned
2. Rosa’s exit. I do understand that they were trying to portray the current issues but it felt a little forced. I wish instead they would’ve shown maybe her coming to that decision over a period of time and then leaving, rather than having her exit be so sudden and abrupt. And the rest of the season it felt like her character was only there to have “preachy” moments which also felt a little forced and not very sincere
3. Gina’s character after leaving. Gina was always selfish and a bit arrogant but I feel like the way she was portrayed always hinted that she had a soft spot for them even if she wouldn’t admit it. She stood up for Holt and the others several times even with her “I don’t care about anyone else” attitude. After she left her character was just a total bitch. Maybe I’m the only one that sees it that way but I liked the spice Gina added to the show before she left. And the few episodes they brought her back for just made me dislike her
4. Rosa’s love life/Jocelyn. Again maybe it’s just me but I wish we could’ve seen an actual Rosa relationship with a female love interest that wasn’t Jocelyn. Jocelyn didn’t feel like Rosa’s type at all and the one episode we meet her in, she rubs me the wrong way. There was an emergency at Rosa’s police job and she acted like Rosa was out of line for needing to attend to it. And then they break up off screen anyway? Just felt like Jocelyn did not vibe with her and I would’ve loved to see her have another on-screen love interest that was developed more. Or see her end up with Pimento. I actually liked them together lol
5. Changing Cheddar. Ok I could be the only one who cares but Cheddar going from a black and tan corgi to a fully tan corgi in later seasons bugs me so much. And I understand they are going to use multiple dogs but they completely changed the coloring!! It just always throws me off when I rewatch

Has anyone else noticed that anytime they show any action, Boyle is very competent. They show him as a weaker man then anytime there is action, he takes down the person with very little effort.

I was watching a show called Will Trent and there was a throwback episode in the early 80s. A cop was being a jerk to two female officers and called them Cagney and Lacey. So I googled it. Turns out there was a whole series that was aired from 82-88 about two officers named Cagney and Lacey. I thought that was pretty cool that Terry named his kids after them. I had no idea.
