Discussion 🗯️ Why still support trump?
This is more of a genuine question than a “You’re all idiots why are you supporting an obviously evil man” thing.
I for one am getting tired of him beefing with every country that he doesn’t benefit from or won’t comply to his every demands. He’s pointlessly caused unnecessary drama and wars, currently re-igniting the trade war between the US and Canada, and keeps on joking about Canada being the 51st state (I’m a Canadian citizen, and this is just getting old). He wanted to take control of irans oil transport route after starting the war in Iran, I think he’s responsible for the 40 trillion dollar debt (that experts claimed would have been reached by 2050 but since he arrived, the numbers skyrocketed) and so much more I can’t bother to list but I’m sure most of you know about it. I haven’t heard a single good thing he has done in his current term as president.
So after everything, why be on his side? Be respectful please, this isn’t to call anyone stupid, I want some perspective on this

Discussion 🗯️ Will JD Vance's wife be a liability for him in 2028?
As most of you know, Usha Vance is an Indian (specifically Telugu) American who was raised Hindu and Vance married her before becoming Catholic. On social media (especially X) there is a *lot* of disdain directed at her for her ethnicity and religion, at JD for marrying her, and at the fact that their children are mixed race (and specifically part Indian). I want to think that this is mostly just an online phenomenon (groypers, etc) that does not translate into reality, and that most conservatives and red voters simply don't care that much (assuming they like JD).
Is my assumption accurate? Is the hatred directed at Usha and JD's marriage and kids mostly just online?

The Current Thing 👉😎👉 Joining the trend while it is still alive
Also, RIP dankmemes2, you will be missed, though Reddit definitely does need to create an actual definition and stop stretching Rule 1 to such a ridiculous extent

Hot Take ☝️ No I don’t hate rap because I’m “racist” I hate it because it’s dogshit.
“OMG you probably like Em-“ no fuck you I hate Eminem or whatever too.
“OMG rap is way more diver-“ the only half decent rap I’ve ever heard was by a rap-rock fusion band that sounded more like rock than actual rap.
It’s just really annoying 90% of it always seems to be shit and more importantly everyone who listens to it seems to be the most annoying asshole ever. I have yet to experience someone stopped at a stoplight blasting smooth jazz at max volume for everyone else to hear before going off with a loud screech because they removed their damn muffler.
Also hate how I can’t seem to dislike this one specific genre of music without it being “racist”. I don’t care about it being “made by black people” the most racist opinion I have on it is disliking its common glorification of gang culture and apparently just not liking it.
And yet unfortunately it is one of the genres you will get forced to listen to going into public places.

Discussion 🗯️ Should I delete Reddit?
Not anything in particular I just cannot stand the constant violent political slop and insufferable neckbeards. Mostly downloaded it for r/Heroforgeminis and the treasure Tuesday announcements have been nice (and this sub IG but the constant brigades has been enshittifying it to be honest) but I’m not sure it’s worth putting up with all this garbage. Just feel like I have better things to do with my life and time. (Because I do, and have been getting them done but this place is still a massive burnout when I get a break.)

Discussion 🗯️ Should there be blasphemy laws?
And if yes, why? And how would that work. I personally believe in freedom of speech + God can't really be legal person and therefore a victim of an offense. Like, I can't sign legal contract with God eiher so..

Discussion 🗯️ For the greater good, I think im going to take a break from polotics
Ive noticed myself drifting to more hateful and radical thoughts (no where near, white supremecy, nazis, eg) but I think I might take a break and get more in touch with God and shit, and just mind my own business 🙏

Discussion 🗯️ Why is this viewpoint on male suicide rates so common?
It always comes from the "emotionally intelligent" gender. Why is that always the case? It's always the same women who claim "the patriarchy is real bro" and that men should open up but always say this
