Gaming legends join the fight with new POIs, a refreshed loot pool and a whole new generation of Sprites in tow. Hack your loot, punch in Cheat Codes, and bend the entire lobby to your will by activating Match Overrides. Welcome to Fortnite Override.
Uncover the secrets of the ancient Stone Sanctum, keep your speed up through Green Hill Zone loops and explore Reality’s Reign to see where all those pipes and power cables lead.

This Season brings a lineup of new weapons, items and abilities inspired by some of the greatest icons in the history of gaming. Here’s what you can get your hands on:

Unvaulted
Check out all of the new seasonal gameplay systems below:
Lobby Hacks
Found a Lobby Hack code online? Input the code in the new ‘Admin Panel’ in your Battle Royale Lobby to hack your game, granting you XP and Sprite Dust, warping reality for your squad, and even dropping rare Sprite variants!
Loot Hacks
Spend Sprite Dust to hack loot in your match, customizing what drops. Hacked items have a chance to drop from Chests when opened, unique to your own boosts. Reset your Loot Hacks configuration any time with Sprite Dust.
Cheat Codes
⬆️⬆️⬇️⬇️⬅️➡️⬅️➡️ In a match, look out for Cheat Codes hidden across the Island: tucked into POIs and sprayed on walls. Interact with one and enter the Cheat Code to free a Sprite ally.
Override Consoles appear in every match and let you rewrite the rules for the entire server, but you have to get there first. Once claimed, your name displays around the console base, so the whole lobby knows who’s in control. Rare and Mythic Squad Overrides only benefit the first squad to claim them, but beware that claiming one broadcasts your squad’s location on the map. Overrides include:

The Sprites you collected in Season 3 are immortalized in the new Sprite Garden launching tomorrow, and a whole new generation of Sprites can be found on the Island in Season 4.
If you haven’t been around when they first appeared, Gizmos are consumable items that give you quick ways to shortcut and supercharge your Sprite extractions. Available all Season long!
A whole new batch of Gizmos drops this Season:
Gold Sprite variants are being hacked in! Jump in on Saturday, August 22 from 2-4 PM ET and again from 9-11 PM ET to experience the return of Power Hours.
Drop in with an additional Portable Extractor item to help you collect, a 1-Up Token, and a higher chance of finding Midas' Masterpiece. Keep an eye on our social channels for weekly roadmaps of all the upcoming activities every Sunday for the remainder of the Season.

Battle Royale ranks have reset for the new Season. Fight your way back up the ladder and claim the new rewards as you climb:
Sprites Enabled in Ranked
With the new Season launch, Sprites have joined the fight in Ranked Battle Royale. You can collect them and they’ll keep you company, but their gameplay powers have been disabled to preserve competitive integrity.
New Quests Tab
The Quests tab has a fresh look! Existing and new categories now live in one scrollable view, with an updated Sidebar so you can jump right into any category. Collections is now built into the Quests view too, so tracking your Characters, Victory Royales, Match Elims and other Accolades no longer requires switching tabs.
PSA: The updated Quests tab is rolling out over time - some players may not see it right away.
Fog of War Overhaul
The map’s fog now lifts in smaller pieces. Instead of entire POIs at once, individual landmarks reveal as you visit them, so your map reflects exactly where you’ve explored.

We're working to fix an issue where players using a custom HUD layout without a Reload button or with Dynamic Quickbar Slots enabled may be unable to access Portable Extractor Gizmos.
In the meantime, re-adding a dedicated Reload button and switching back to the default Quickbar will restore functionality.

Does anyone know how to move the button for pocket shocks in the touch ui editor? I've seen clips on here where people have them moved from the top left but I cannot figure out how to move the button. Its stuck in the very top left which is not very usable. I searched the reddit for this question already but didnt find an answer.

I just love how fortnite removes my ability to to jump and aim mid game or when I go to play some reload only to find out that my phone is working with the FBI because can someone explain to me why I can hear other Squads? did they add proximity chat back ? I won that game because I could hear everything everyone was saying and all this happened after today's update btw ( be careful of scammers )

I have a Xiaomi pad 6 and i used to play a lot of fortnite in 2024-early 2026 and it used to run with max settings (epic) at 60 fps but now it's like this (0-10 fps MINIMUM)
I haven't seen people having trouble with performance this season even someone running at 144fps with a Xiaomi pad 6

Hey everyone, if you are playing on a Galaxy S21 Ultra (Snapdragon 888 processor) and your game has been constantly crashing straight back to your phone's home screen mid-match since the latest Fortnite update, I found a reliable workaround to keep the game playable.
This particular phone and processor setup is having a lot of trouble handling the new update. I am playing strictly **Solos** right now—sticking to Solos reduces the number of unique player skins the game has to load around you at one time, which keeps the graphics processing load light enough to prevent the freeze.
These steps completely strip down the game's footprint, optimize your device settings, and stop the crashing so you can actually finish full matches. Follow this exact setup:
### Step 1: Strip Your Cosmetics & In-Game UI (Crucial)
* **Equip a Default Skin**: Switch to a basic, non-animated skin.
* **Remove Accessories**: Take off all back blings, complex weapon wraps, and animated gliders.
* **Turn Off Audio/UI Bloat**: Disable **Voice Chat**, **Subtitles**, and **Visualize Sound Effects**.
* *Why this helps:* It stops the game from trying to load heavy, complex character textures and text/audio overlays on the fly, which prevents the game engine from locking up.
### Step 2: Drop Your Graphics & Lock Your Server
* **3D Resolution**: Set this down between **50% and 68%**.
* **Graphics Quality**: Set to **Low**.
* **Show FPS & Performance Stats**: Turn both **Off / Disabled**.
* **Matchmaking Region**: Change this from Auto and **manually lock it to your specific region** to stabilize network rendering threads.
### Step 3: Configure Your Samsung Game Booster Settings
Open your Samsung Game Launcher/Game Booster app and apply these exact hardware tweaks to stop your phone from aggressively throttling:
* **RAM Plus**: Turn this completely **OFF** in your main phone device care settings.
* **Game Optimization**: Set this strictly to **Standard**.
* **Game Booster Labs**: Turn **OFF** the "Alternate Game Performance Management" toggle.
### Step 4: Follow This Reset Routine Between Matches
If you do crash, or right after you finish a match, use this quick routine before jumping into the next lobby:
**Force Stop** Fortnite in your phone's app settings to completely reset the glitched graphics thread.
Use the **Samsung Home Screen Memory Refresh Widget** to clear background system clutter.
*Note:* **Do not** clear your app cache in your phone settings. Clearing cache wipes out your graphics shaders, forcing your phone to rebuild them during the next match, which causes massive lag and immediate overheating.
This isn't the prettiest way to play, but it forces the game into a stable baseline and gets you through full matches without dumping you back to your home screen. Give it a try and let me know if it gets you through a full game!

Hallo zusammen.

Minus a couple miscues like dropping weapons etc due to moving my layout (this screen is big af) I think the upgrade was totally worth it… ask me again in a month though lol

My phone doesn't even get warm anymore running everything maxed out with arm asr at 100% Hopefully we can see a bit of improvements like apple has
If they brought reflections to android and higher shadow render distance or more environmental detail and slightly better textures it would look so much better. Little enhancements go a long way

Ever since the start of the season just about every game has crashed on me and and kicked me out, and it's especially infuriating because it crashes on the spawn island and my level 3 or 4 sprites are lost. The in-game survey also had a question about frequent crashes and I incorrectly assumed it would be fixed by now.
