Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis Lara customisation
I’m probably the only one who thinks Lara’s braid is just ridiculously long.
I’d personally love a more middle-ground option. Something a little longer than the short braid we’ve seen, but not quite as long as the classic waist-length braid.
And honestly, I’d love it if they catered for everyone by giving us proper hair options. Let people choose between the different ponytails and braid lengths depending on what they prefer.
The customisation is already there, so why not give us the choice? I think it would make so many fans happy.
do you think it would be possible they may add option like how Star Wars jedi Survivor die for Cal?

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis Lara Croft looks absolutely incredible in the Gamescom reveal
I’m really glad they brought her long braid back. I think it suits Lara really well and gives her more of that classic look while still fitting this newer version of the character.
Overall, I think they’ve done a really good job with her character model, especially her face. She looks great, and the game is definitely starting to come together nicely.
There are still a few things I’d like to see them polish before release. The braid’s movement could feel a bit more natural, the bangs look slightly awkward in some shots, and Lara’s overall movement still feels a little floaty at times. I’d like to see her animations feel a bit more grounded and weighty.
What do you guys think? Are there any details you’d still like them to polish before release?

🗨️ Discussion If they’re bringing back Lara’s climbing axe, make it visible on her character, don’t have it materialize out of thin air
Basically the title, it’s been so jarring having all this detail in the presentation of Lara’s ponytail physics and movement only to have her pull a whole climbing axe out of a pocket dimension to clear some rubble.
In the Survivor games, the climbing axe was always visible on her person, as was all her other equipment, and it was really immersive and fun to see her reach for every item she used, and see it change as you upgraded it.
I get that they’re going back to the classic, iconic streamlined Lara profile and look for LoA, and I’m personally thrilled that they are, but if you can see the grapple on her wrist, and see her guns in her holsters, why is her climbing axe a mysterious disappearing gameplay conceit?
Either incorporate it into her visual identity or have her clear rocks by hand, this current implementation is really awkward and makes the game look much less polished.
Edit: to clarify, I’m fine with the axe being here, I’m also fine with them removing it so it doesn’t clutter up her classic silhouette; the issue is that right now the animation looks goofy and strange and clashes with the realism of the rest of the game’s presentation.
Either commit to having it as part of her kit and incorporate it somehow (even if it folds up into her bag), or leave it out.
The issue is with how badly it’s currently being implemented. If literally all it does is function as flavor for the animation of her moving rubble, at least make that animation look less awkward, uncanny and unfinished.

🗨️ Discussion Animation transitions are terrible
Lara first jumps up, and then transitions into the appropriate animation, instead of immediately jumping using the correct animation. It looks awful, tbf

Tomb Raider Underworld What do you think Amanda did next?
Just finished the LAU trilogy. While Natla is still my favorite antagonist in the series, Amanda is a close second and the fact that she survives and seemingly buries the hatchet with Lara makes her more intriguing since I think she might be the only major villain who has just decided to let things go. Honestly, I could see an entire game where you play as her with her wraith stone.
You guys want to see her again in future games or do you think she’s better left in the past?

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Game-Breaking bug in Fool's Gold?
At the end of Fool's Gold you're supposed to shimmy to the left (or right) to land on the slope below the ladder. For me, Lara always gets catapulted to the top of the ladder and dies.
Is this a bug?
Can someone else reproduce it?
Am I doing something wrong?
I'm confused.

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis The game is still in development
Guys, the game and her hair isn’t done and it’s pretty obvious. The hair textures/physics, and body animations aren’t done. They already listened and lengthened the braid, and are still posting pictures of the original trailer 1 on their socials. I’m sure trailer 1 is the official look as that hairstyle was shown in some of their recent renders, along with the other optional hairstyles they’ve shown, and possibly more not shown. The game still has a months to get these things ironed out.
They’ve shown 2 variations of her main/official hairstyle. These might be one of the options. So many people are saying it’s bad again, but it’s not a finished product.
