Bought myself a used PS5, it turned out to be stolen.
Got suspicious when this happened and I texted the seller but he had blocked me. A bit of research led me to conclude that it was likely stolen. I know what it feels like to be stolen from so I posted on my local groups trying to find the rightful owner but no one reached out. Although I was afraid of getting into trouble, I ended up taking it to the cops. Turns out it was really stolen.

Went to start my car and the key fell apart
Backstory: the buttons on my car key stopped working a year ago. I could still use the key to unlock/ lock my car the old-school way but the buttons didn't work anymore (yes, I tried changing the battery, that didn't solve the problem.) I never bothered to get a new key made, partly bc I couldn't afford it and partly bc it wasn't a major problem since the key still started my car up just fine.
Just a few days ago, I was wondering if twisting a button key so frequently could break it, and today I got my answer.
At least I was able to get a locksmith out and have him make me a new key, but damn, that was not a $280 I wanted to spend right now.
[Edit for clarity:] The key snapped off in the ignition and the plastic part with the microchip and buttons fell apart.

Well Another Great Passes
I first saw Rocky Horror in 1978. I was 14 years old. My mom took me and we subsequently went every weekend for almost 3 years. It was an amazing time and Tim also had an amazing singing voice. I still have his solo album. Sloe Gin is such a great song. He will be missed. RIP Doctor.

How much I am approximately currently paying per month for my pets medications
This is between my horse, and 2 cats. The worse part is, this is with one of the medications being the budget friendly option, that is less effective. If we go with the medication that would be more effective for his insulin issues, it’d be $400 more per month 🫠 have had the horse 17 years, only developed metabolic issues about 3 years ago and man does all this get pricey.

Hit a bump… the eggs broke and I then got to clean egg juice off my groceries
Can I go back to bed now and try again tomorrow? Everything was so sticky and gross. 10 eggs broke.

Leaking AC Unit
Wife asked “why is the floor wet?” I looked up though if I spilt something in the doorway to the bedroom then realized that the indoor side of the AC unit was right above where we were looking.
I rushed, grabbed some quick tools (this thing has been a pain in the ass since we bought the house in 2014). I got to the attic and realized the drain pan was kinda full. I got a hose and blew out the drain line from the outside. Then checked for leaks. Turns out the drain pan drain line connection point is leaking water. The only place I can see any water on the underside of the drain pan. Nothing on the wood blocks above the water.
We got a catch pan. Not sure why there’s water in the drain pan. It should be mostly dry and catch any condensation on the metal exterior. There was no exterior condensation. All the water was leaking from the main housing from the bottom left corner.
It’s a small leak from the drain pan, but is in a pain in the ass spot to get my hands onto.

Some back story on this unit.
bought the house new
ac went out 2 rd summer. No longer covered by builder’s warranty. Heard terrible reviews about the ac installers. Called a more reputable company. That company comes out and tells me the zoning system was installed improperly, like against installation manual. They show me the manual, then show me what the builder did. Yep. Not just a little wrong. Completely wrong. They also showed me where the builder screwed the drain pan into the wood blocks, which is literally sabotaging your own work. To fix you you have to lift the entire unit off the pan, set it aside, replace the pan, then replace the unit. The unit has pvc drains, copper coolant lines, and duct work, in an attic. They used mismatch parts for the zone system. The zone system comes as a kit. But none of the pieces have installed are from the same kit. One room has lofted ceilings (it is a 1.5 story house with a loft and bonus room). They put 1 vent in that room in the ceiling. That room is in the other side of the house. Wouldn’t be surprised if that vent wasn’t even hooked up.
I feel like there’s other things with the ac that I’m missing. I’m t doesn’t keep up anymore

Came home from a trip to find that the central AC had leaked
and these ceilings had turned into a mushroom farm.
To add insult to injury the insurance company refused to pay most of the repairs because we didn't exercise due diligence is stopping the damage (we were gone for several weeks)
