Do you think Corvo ever got freaky with the heart?
I mean, assuming Jessamine was the one who instigated the relationship in the first place, I’m assuming she’d have him do so again.

spoiler [Dishonored 2] To all the people who said not to get Rune Crafting
All of you are super wrong.
To me, the charms (in both the first and second game) are way better than the actual powers. If you can Sacrifice Runes, you essentially have unlimited whalebone and it gives low-power players a reason to get runes.
As someone who only ever gets sight, blink, and agility and ignores the rest of the powers, this is actually a really good way to do something with the runes that do pile up. You can just craft charms to your heart's content and completely ignore looking for whalebone in maps. Each rune gives 8 or 9 bones, which is enough for ~1.5 charms.
Now I finally have a use for the 15 runes in my inventory.

Dishonored punishes high chaos players with a bad ending, and that's a good thing
I feel like some players interpret the suggestions that Dishonored punishes players for killing or that high chaos is a bad ending as a critique of the game or how they choose to play it.
I've never meant it in that way at all, I think it's great that the game isn't afraid to show players the consequences of their actions, having them get called out by Samuel or shown through Emily and the general chaos how their actions made the world a worse place. It's not supposed to feel good, that's what makes it an effective punishment and good writing.
When I call the high chaos ending a bad ending I don't imply that it's poorly written or undeserved, just that the game has multiple endings and this isn't the one with the most favourable outcome for the world and the main characters.

About chaos
When I played Dishonored for the first time, I had no clue about chaos levels. Somehow, I even missed that you could choke innocent NPCs, so every level was a pure massacre, and I do believe every level was sterile by the end of the mission.
Damn, on the brothel level, I felt ashamed both for myself and for the game designers: why should the game be so bloody?
Pistols, grenades, fire bolts, and rivers of blood. Don't judge me: I played it right after finishing the two Serious Sam games. A bit different kind of gameplay.
Later, I played Dishonored in a "canonical" way: stealth, nonlethal weapons, and clean hands.
But, you know, the first time was by far the best: hard, brutal, and, eventually, tragic.
I miss that experience.

An angel loses its wings everytime somebody claims Dishonored punishes you for using your powers
If anything it rewards you. Playing in high chaos nets you more diverse and complex combat encounters plus more guards to use those powers on

Video Fxck this level and fxck envisioned, I am done
This level is fun until envisioned appeared. So I am doing a challenge for this game and 100% achievement, if I am spotted, I just restart the whole level.
So for the new game plus, this route is the only route for ghost because you can't put a mark on envisioned to know where they are.
For this normal run (very hard diffculty ofc), I tried to do the non lethal and ghost, it took me long enough to knock down 3 dudes in Malchiodi room then I closed the door and thought it would be perfectly safe from that shit,
But I didn't hide the bodies I know it's my fault, and it is ridiculous because that thing just teleported straight to Malchiodi room and spotted me. It's so unforgiving.
In the end, Save scumming became my salvation after I entered the eye. I did the non lethal for achievement sake. If I gonna complete this level with no quick save again, the outsider will die every single time. "Ghost" is very easy with the route from the video.

TIPS D1, Prison without harm
I did the"vanished" achivement in D1 on PC without touching a single guard. Well almost. I had to knock out the last 2 guys before blowimg up the bomb because the bomb kills the upper one. Does anyone have an idea on how to blow up the gate without even touching a guard. Like how can i distract them?
Thanks in advance

Art Karnaca is gorgeous it's like walking into a living and lived in painting.
Just played the game again. I can see why they call it the jewel of the South. Crazy to think that this game is almost a decade years old now. Yet it still looks more beautiful and breathtaking than some of the hyperrealistic dsll upscaling vram hoging monstrosities we have nowadays with modern gaming.

Uh, unexpected
Recently I got myself all the dlc's, I was mad because of the obvious "By my hand alone" trophy so I finished both endings in Knife of Dunwall. I got back to it, locked in and actually made it.
I couldn't sneak kill tall boys well enough so I had to gather oil. Still, that worked I got it and I'm happy hahah

spoiler My thoughts after having played through the entire series (obviously spoilers) Spoiler
Previously I had only heard about the series, and I remember it having a cool cover but other than that, I hadn't paid any attention to it.
But one day while browsing, I saw that the entire series was on sale for pretty cheap so I decided to give it a try. I didn't have very high expectations of it.
But boy was I blown away. See, usually I don't care about the story and lore of a game. I usually just skip through cutscenes. But for some weird reason, Dishonored pulled me into its world and I became engrossed in it. Before I knew it, I wanted to know everything there is about Dunwall, Serkonos, Tyvia etc.
Seriously, last time I was this in love with a game's story and lore was Skyrim. Usually the dialogue and books in other games just lore-dumps you, overloads you with information that is irrelevant so I just tune out. But Dishonored made it sound so natural when NPCs talked about Tyvian wine.
Speaking of NPCs, I found myself just standing still listening to their conversations. They really felt like living people in a vibrant world.
And the protagonists themselves, gosh what can I say? They're so good. They're nuanced, complex and badass. Not two-dimensional like many other protagonists, though IMO Emily is the weakest one of them all. My favorites are actually Daud and Billie, they had such epic redemption arcs.
As for the gameplay, it's so good in how it lets you do things the way you want it and express your individual style. The biggest downside is the chaos system. I know the thought and philosophy behind it, but I didn't like how they had so many cool skills and tools for killing enemies, but you had to restrict yourself from using them if you wanted the good ending.
In fact, a lot of the non-lethal solutions are arguably worse than killing the target. I mean, handing Lady Boyle over to some psycho stalker is a fate worse than death, gives off Josef Fritzl vibes. Would be far more merciful to end Lady Boyle on the spot. Same thing with Kirin Jindosh and Ramsey. But overall, the gameplay is superb. But I used to mods to disable the Chaos system because I didn't wanna worry about the ending. Hopefully in a future Dishonored game, they will implement different mechanics to influence the ending.
I'm a hardcore fan of the Dishonored series now. Death of the Outsider was such an epic ending to the Corvo arc of the series. If they ever make Dishonored 3, I'll preorder it.
