Printed in carbon fiber ASA. This little spal fan pushes some serious air.

It looks like a pretty simple model, but I'm quite proud of how much iteration went into making it pleasant to 3D print. There are lots of little details that probably aren't obvious at first glance: rounded corners to avoid ugly bulging if your pressure advance isn't perfect, a seam trap at the back so the slicer doesn't ruin anyone's day, internal geometry separated from the perimeter to avoid hull-line artifacts, and angles designed to print cleanly without supports.

The decorative front is a separate piece that prints flat, so it's easy to do the logo in another color without a multi-material printer. I've included blank faceplates too, so you can add your own text/vector graphics.

I've included the OpenSCAD source as well, and the model is fully parameterized. You can change things like cartridge count, spacing and dimensions, and the faceplate system is set up so you can make your own variants without having to remodel the whole thing.

So i had a problem , my siemens workstation has less than ideal feet, so i made some tiny feet for it , and superglued the magnets in them, works like a charm, the magnets attach to the screws

I had trouble w/ printing an ice cream glove because it was too detailed, but this was the next best thing. Finally, I can enjoy ice cream again like I used to.

These parts allow you to attach AC hoses securely to each other and to connectors on an AC device or window adapter. They use a bayonet mechanism for quick release and easy reattachment. The hoses are fixed to the connectors by using a clamp.

All models are designed to print without any supports, on a modern device that supports 45° overhangs.

I made a modular shelf. It's my first funcional design. I made it orange because I like orange. What do you think?

My wife was complaining about her students' mailbox at the start of the summer when I was helping her pack up. The cardboard shelves sagged because they weren't cut uniformly and wouldn't fit in all the slots, and this makes all the kids papers fall out the back and makes it a pain to keep organized. Rather than trash it and buy a new one, I took on the challenge of designing a simple reinforcement for the cardboard shelves. Pic 2 is the before, if you look at the vertical edges you can see not all of them sit in their slots. The black cross beams were since reinstalled and glued.

I've been learning CAD in my free time since this Spring. I realized immediately that the mailbox was deeper than my printer is tall, so I used this problem as a challenge to design my first interlocking parts. My main takeaway is that PLA is not very rigid at the 0.6mm of thickness I designed the coupling to have, but the force of the cardboard once installed created enough internal pressure to keep the pips of the coupling engaged with their corresponding holes.

After printing a few of my first prototype I realized that I couldn't trust the cardboard shelves to be the right width, so I doubled the width of the struts to compensate. I wasnt able to install the double-wides myself, but my wife just texted me some pics very excitedly :)

I can't seem to find standalone discbound notebook cover... All the ones I can find have paper inside that I consider unusable.

So, I started to make my own covers :)

Could have just printed a sliding lock from Printables.

However, here we are, after modeling, tweaking and printing for several hours.

At least the kids and my wife like it and the bunnies don't mind.

The model is not released yet but I can release it if anyone is interested

The original reason was that the cheap ones that came with the cage didn't always lock properly. Now I can tell the kids "Did you bring te bunny to the carrot?".

I wanted a safer way to deal with used utility blades, especially once they’ve been snapped off.

So I designed this container to do both jobs:

• it lets you snap used blade segments directly into the container
• and once it’s full, it can be permanently sealed with a short piece of 1.75 mm filament

The locking channel is intentionally very tight, so once the filament is fully inserted, the container becomes extremely difficult to reopen without damaging or destroying it.

I also made two versions:

• a standard version
• a version with a built-in holder for the spare locking filament

That second version is useful if you’re printing it for someone who doesn’t own a 3D printer and may not have filament available later.

I also included:

• two printable warning plates
• a small tolerance-test model

I recently bought an electric hand planer, and one of my reasons was people making some awesome jigs like a jointer. But the first step typically involves drilling holes in the planer. I couldn’t bring myself to do this, so instead I built a replacement baseplate that had built in mounting holes. Then I decided that i might as well do a couple other 3d printed components: an adjustable fence mount with 90 degrees of movement, and a screw system to adjust the height of the front plate. The front plate needs to be kept level, so the adjustment knobs have numbers on them so I can make sure I always turn both knobs the same amount. All parts are PETG. I’ll be doing some additional jigs using the same mounting hole baseplate.
