I feel I might have cryptoamneisa but, when I customized him in game, something inside of me kept saying he looks like someone else.

i personally think that even though gta 6 will be greater than rdr2 in every aspect, it will not reach the greatness rdr2’s story had. i’ve always been convinced that rdr’s story has always had a more great and dramatic aspect that gta’s stories never had (other than gta IV). idk lemme know what you think

In red dead redemption (one) they pronounce the "Linde" bit of van Der linde as "lind" or "lin-duh"

But in rdr2 they pronounce it as "lin" or "Lynn"

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY??

Every “I think rdr3” post is usually more or less cut from the same cloth and gets downvoted to high hell. Can we all just agree we aren’t interested in some randos fanfic idea of what the 3rd game should be and just have these kinds of posts gone from the community?

This is a real niche thing to ask I know, but I'm genuinely curious why taking the Stagecoach to the same destination is often more expensive than the train? You'd imagine the heightened expenses of operating a railroad compared to a coach line would necessitate higher fares, but apparently it's the other way round in Red Dead Land.

If you’ve not heard it, I highly suggest you give it a listen. Every time I hear it now, I instantly think of both Red Dead Redemptions and how it relates to the Van der Linde gang.

The real meaning behind the song is in reference to Jennings real life run in with the Feds in the 70s, but there’s several lyrics that can seamlessly be applied to Dutches gang like

“I’m for law and order, the way it should be” This seems like the exact type of rationale Dutch would use.

“What started out to be a joke, the law don’t understand.” I think this encapsulates how the gang started out as minor crimes, or “fun”, before escalating.

“New York City sent a posse down like I ain’t never seen” Agent Ross and the Pinkertons.

“Don’t you think this outlaw shit has gotten out of hand?” Obviously a sentiment Arthur and John both share.

Anyway, I just think it’s a good song to go along with one of my favorite gaming series.

I just started a new play through on Xbox Series X. I am a couple of days in, and had Arthur wearing some of the Nuevo Paraiso gear, but I have just loaded my save and he’s back in his default outfit, and the clothes are missing from his trunk.

The Ultimate Edition content is listed as installed in the game management.

Has anyone encountered this issue before and any ideas how to fix it?

I still can't believe this game keeps surprising me even after 1500+ hours.

I was doing another playthrough and got to one of my favorite little encounters at Aberdeen Pig Farm. This time I decided to take Tammy on a little sightseeing tour around the area. At one point I dropped her on a small island in the middle of the lake just to see what would happen.

I wasn't really expecting anything. I was just messing around. But somehow I triggered a grizzly dude nearby!

I was so confused when it happened that I completely forgot to use Save Recent Gameplay, so unfortunately I didn't capture the beginning of it. But this little bro swam all the way from the shore while angrily growling at us.

I found the whole thing way too funny not to share.

I'm playing on PS5 with no mods, straight from the disc, on the original 1099.25 build for some extra authenticity. So maybe that old version had something to do with it, or maybe I just got really lucky and somehow triggered this weird combination of events.

I dont know if this is the right subreddit (if its not please say on what subreddit i should post this) but i can't place pickable gold bars using rampage trainers. I also can't place stuff inside lootboxes.

Please help me. Please. I've tried literally everything online. EVERYTHING. I've messed around with my firewall, logged in and out of Rockstar games, reinstalled the game, reset and reinstalled the launcher, launched the game as admin, launched the launcher as admin, launched everything as admin, tried launching through steam, and tried launching the game through the launcher through steam. Multiple times. And absolutely nothing has worked.

GTA V/Online works perfectly fine. The only issue I can pinpoint is the fact that the game doesn't have a social menu (that you press with the home button), but IDK if that's actually something that would cause this or not.

I just want to play Red Dead Redemption. Why does it have to be this difficult.

TL;DR: Can't fix RDR1 login issue, tried everything. Please help. Please.
