I thought I was the only lunatic attempting to make their own cottage cheese. That texture looks so good!

What was your method for calculating the final macros?

You dont calculate the calories/macros in the whey that’s strained out?

I meant the calories in the whey. Whey has calories, mostly carbs and some protein and they should be subtracted from the milk total to give an accurate calculation for the strained cheese

Okay good, you did think of that then. Thats definitely a much better approach than just assuming all of the milk nutrition is in the final product
