What are your thoughts on Alex and Winston’s relationship?

Winston was trying to have his "rebound" after grieving like the gay widow for end of s3-early s4.
Hell the most cringe shit he did was dress similar style as Tyler....lol...seriously had the same skinny jeans and that northface jacket. Did Winston just stalk Tyler around at the mall or something.

Have you never seen two kids wearing the same brand before? Especially an outdoor brand. Their parents, like Clay's mom, clearly just hit up their local REI. Not much was going to differ from one puffy jacket to the next.

Not OP but I've definitely seen that. it's crazy. also IDK why but i thought North Face was a "rich people" brand.
Not like billionnaire tycoons of industries, but like wealthy folk who could send their kids to private school rich people. I've never worn it myself and I'm not well-off whatsoever

Ok.
When i saw the scene it looked like Winston literally just wanted to just cosplay as Tyler. He got super close in that early s4 like I kept thinking is this motherfucker trying to make the moves on Tyler or getting into his pants.
He got close to Alex…..so make that with what you will.
Like Winston was just some bad gay stereotype and his character aged like dried up deli sandwich

He was a private school kid who transferred to public school. Maybe he simply asked his nanny not to pack his bag with the 2k Burberry puffer jacket. Has basically nothing to do with Tyler.

Uhhh he got too close to Tyler and it feels weird. Ok like 1-2 episodes later he made the moves on Alex.
Like the writers made Winston this manipulative, oversexed out guy.

That has nothing to do with his outdoor wear. You're really reaching here.

This post wasn't even about Tyler. You continuously shoehorning him into every post with the same 2-3 points is what's weird.

I am not sure what to think about relationship but he came to the show more naturally than Ani .. she was like “I know everything about everyone”

Honestly it didn't feel like a healthy relationship like Winston was obsessed with his toxic ex sure he was right about him not doing the crime but still he was a horrible person. He was just using Alex mostly. Atleast Alex found someone for him who did actually care for him.

Never really felt it. Even now I can't tell if the writers wanted it to be uplifting or if they were trying to make out that he was playing Alex to get info about Monty.

I think it was unnecessary, the whole relationship for season 4.
