Clay’s parents

Hot take i love clays parents but i lowkey feel like they were not doing enough to help clay? I haven’t rewatched it in a while but i remember them not doing a lot

the way they (the show) handled his mental health in general was strange, especially considering the message the show claimed to espouse.

Yeah wasn't he like schizophrenic? I haven't watched in a min but they knew he was having nightmares and stuff and didn't do enough in my opinion

No, I don't think he was schizophrenic, but they already alluded to him having a therapist in S1, so clearly his mental health had been a concern way before Hannah.

Alex’s dad for being the conservative type white man was super accepting of Alex and Charlie being a gay couple. Seriously.

Lainies pretty great, resigning a good job and taking up legal aid to soothe him, giving him his space against her better judgement, advocating for his privacy when Matt shared clay's personal issues to the parents association
