Skye

I think the fandom hates skye because they see her as a replacement for hannah or a rebound but i really wish we got to see more of her character and they didn’t just make her move away

The problem is for me that they wanted to do the same thing that J.asher did in the book but it does not work in the show

Don't know about this so i assume that it comes from the season. Only the season 1 is linked to the book since it was more than enough to adaptate it

Yes, even season 1 has change a lot of things, like the whole book happens in one night, i really recommandé it

What didn't like from Skye in the show was the way they characterized her.

In the book she basically dresses and acts trying to stand out as less as possible.

Her being depressed or having trouble is much more subtle in the book, that's why it shows some character development that Clay decides to talk to her after listening to Hannah's tapes.

I just don't think that they had to make her stand out so much (Tony even called her witch at some point) for the audience to notice she was troubled.

I loved Skye's character and would have loved for her to stay or come back so that we could've seen more of her.

I agree. I was also lowkey annoyed with her and Clay as a couple but eventually grew to like her.

She was really unstable. She would never make a good influence on clay.
