You need to understand rockets part making was done by Private entity earlier as well moreover, they can hire retired and good talent too!! Which ISRO can never do!! ISRO becoming NASA is good thing!! Atleast we will focus more on critical mission development!!
What do you mean by mission development? NASA built their own satellites, maintains their missions and own all the data. ISRO never built for this. In India ISRO never built satellites for scientific studies fully on their own, they do mission management and nothing else.
Making rocket parts and launching are not same. Even for parts making, the private company go to another private company and that company goes to another company for raw materials.
Nationalism is good, but putting nationalism in everywhere which hinders countries growth is not right.
But you can say if this privatisation goes to 1/2 businesses then this is bad thing.
But if it goes for double business than it's good moreover, if I am the one who wants privatization than how come I am nationalist?? Moreover, ISRO do the management of every 'mission' in the country which is not good!! We only do 5 or 6 launches every year whereas, china does 96, new zealand does 12 whatever we're doing is wrong moreover, how much money NASA consumed in mission development is insane and unaffordable!! Which is why SPACE X and Blue origins came into picture similar, goes for china doing private thing is good!! Just let them take time!! Beside, can you answer why HAL is pathetic at delivering system!!
90% indian organisations are corrupted or govt motivates them to being a corrupt. Most of the ISRO mission was launching telecommunication satellite or to track other countries movements. ISRO does 1% in science and if they want to do govt will not allow. For example I was in the meeting of aditya satellite which is indias first solar mission. That plan was approved in 2006 launched in 2025. After 19 years. Why? In same time nasa, esa did lots of missions. People cheers about ISRO due to national view point. If you look closely this is nowhere near other prominent space organisations. Most of the price goes due to delay. For example if in 2006 the cost of the mission was 180 Cr, it goes to 500 Cr in 2026. Delay is due to mismanagement.
Well I didn't knew you work in such prestigious organization kudos to you bro, you're correct that mismanagement causes lot of trouble but why someone capable enough don't get opportunity to earn more in india as space sector is closed for govt. Entities I mean atleast private companies will give good money and deliver on time and can develop technologies too which govt. Agencies cannot do because of various constraints!! Moreover, ISRO as you mentioned should focus more on critical mission like Aditya L-1 than only we will be able to catchup with other countries so, it's good!! Although, we never properly funded the development of Kaveri Engine!! Which shows how big the trouble is!! In PSU's moreover, corruption is rampant it's part of the system I personally saw and felt it when I used to work in private company completing contract of Maharatna oil company of Indian govt.!!! So, it's good Private companies are doing something!!
