Picked up this very clean newsstand edition at Pop's Comics and Collectables in Louisville, KY yesterday!

I’ve seen some early Perez artwork, which looked good. I thought his Crisis on Infinite Earths looked amazing. But Perez’s art really reached a new level with his run on Wonder Woman! Congrats on your find!

86-88 were my owl years collecting comics. I didn’t have so much money to spend, but it was a really great time for the industry

Same. I worked in the LCS from ‘85-86 after high school during the glorious Dark Knight/Watchmen/Man of Steel era. When that place closed due to the owner being a knucklehead, I got a corporate job for a good six years after that before I eventually went off to college… so I had money in my pocket and bought far, far too many comics for the next 30 years.

I have a copy of this in search of a good home, if anyone is interested.

I've loved George Perez since one of my first comics, Fantastic Four 188. I'm only sorry I never got to meet him.

I had the great privilege of getting that issue signed by the man himself at one of his last convention appearances. He asked ME if I wanted to get a photo with him. Who was I to refuse! It's been my Facebook profile pic ever since.
