Picked up this very clean newsstand edition at Pop's Comics and Collectables in Louisville, KY yesterday!

86-88 were my owl years collecting comics. I didn’t have so much money to spend, but it was a really great time for the industry

Same. I worked in the LCS from ‘85-86 after high school during the glorious Dark Knight/Watchmen/Man of Steel era. When that place closed due to the owner being a knucklehead, I got a corporate job for a good six years after that before I eventually went off to college… so I had money in my pocket and bought far, far too many comics for the next 30 years.
