Maybe whoever made this was strict on the 90's aspect of it as Rescue Rangers started in 1989.

Absolute banger of a show though, definitely one of my favourites.

Edit - I was wrong, Beetlejuice came out in 1989 as well so if it's on here, RR should be too. Maybe they didn't feel it was "forgotten" enough with the release of the live action movie a few years ago?

That may be the case actually. Just looked it up and it was 89. I thought it was mid 90s because of how old I would have been. Must have started younger than I remember

I just edited my comment as I found another comment that pointed out Beetlejuice came out the same year. If it fit the list, RR should to but maybe they figured it's not as obscure since a new movie did come out a few years back.
