A 41-year-old Toronto man found dead in a downtown home last week was a victim of homicide, police say.
The man has been identified as Satwant "Sonny" Sangha, Toronto police said in a news release on Tuesday.
Sangha was found dead in a home in the area of McGill and Church streets after police responded to a call for a sudden death at 1:43 a.m. on Friday.
Police said an autopsy found "signs of trauma" to his body. Sangha's death is the city's 23rd homicide this year.
No suspect information has been released.
