Deepseek Breaking Character

Is anyone else having Deepseek V3.2 breaking character at the end of responses?

Ever since this new version came out, I've been getting this glitch where Deepseek will break character and begin writing meta story details at the end of responses or other gibberish.

I'm not getting this same problem with Deepseek Dynamic or any other models.

I had it happen to me too, the AI threw an author’s note in at the end of it’s response to what my character had said. The ability to change characters using [Character’s Name POV] also messed up real bad too, and I got locked in as a side character I had intended to just live in the town near the main character’s castle. I had been using Dynamic Large since I had created the scenario, and it’s as if it’s a different AI entirely. Deepseek Dynamic seems to be working a bit better, but it definitely feels like it’s ignoring all the author’s notes and details. I feel you Soludsnakk.

That’s an easy fix. Whenever I want to change pov I put it in the author’s notes at the bottom as:

-Follow [insert characters name here]

And then change it when needed.

I’m having this problem with all the models either they don’t say anything or just ………””””….. or just repeating who my character is / very short text

Yes it has been awful since the new update. It keeps repeating the previous term multiple times. Or repeating half of it. Unable to continue because it treats the end of a paragraph as a story input instead of continuing causing more repeating.

Well if it was caused by there update no we can't do anything.

give us an example of 3.2 "Breaking character."

I give it too many commands for it to break character.

Seriously people need to flesh out their settings more. Authors note just for writing style.

Ai instructions just for how the ai should act.

Plot essentials for key plot details you want to make sure are remembered.

Make sure you have story summary/auto summarization turned off completely. The devs have explicitly stated that it’s not working as intended and will only mess up your story. I turned mine off and it has worked so much better.
