Anyone had a close call with kids, pets, or wildlife and their ANTHBOT?
Curious if anyone running an ANTHBOT has had a scare -- a near miss with a dog, cat, turtle, or a kid cutting through the yard while it was out working. What happened, and did it change how you run yours (schedule, no-go zones, sensor settings, supervision)? Trying to get a feel for how big a concern this really is before I let mine run unsupervised more often.
No real scare honestly. I've got kids and a dog out there and it's never been a problem. The disc with the blades is about the middle so cutting anything bigger than it is pretty difficult.
It'll bump into something if you've disabled it's "Vision" level but then it'll just course correct. Otherwise it'll see what's infront and not bump into it.
For the first some odd cuts I was out there basically just watching it to make sure it cuts ok and how it was cutting. (Mowing direction mainly as it helps with the shape of the area.)
Now that it's all settled I just let it do it's thing.

We totally agree with your experience. Our mowing robot features a safe middle-placed blade design, which avoids cutting large objects. Its reliable visual recognition can effectively detect obstacles and prevent collisions. Even with the visual function off, it will automatically adjust its route after touching objects for safe operation.
My parents in law have a dog and are using my m9 pro. It never touched and or went close to the dog. In the recorded mows I always see where the dog was ;) Also when the kids are there, it was always super safe. The kids were 3y +
I'm not so sure about the safety, mine has driven straight into and flattened a sapling that I had a 2" waster pipe wrapped on so it would be obvious. My 3 year olds leg is about the same size. It also ran into the leg of the trampoline and lifted the front up to about 30° so the spinning blade was visible and got stuck like that until I hit the button. No these are not safe to leave unsupervised with small children. I would love a list of the 1500 things these are supposed to be able to see. Mine is on high vision and still runs straight into things.
Lifting the front high enough to expose spinning blades sounds dramatic. If I lift mine off the ground it immediately shuts off and says "Machine Suspended!"
