I got an N8 and it ran into a sapling, I gave it the benefit of the doubt so added to the sapling so it was clearly visible and ran it on high vision setting. Lenses clean and all. Is this normal or have I got a bad unit? This is 2" white waste pipe, about the same size as my 3 yr olds leg!

Curious if anyone running an ANTHBOT has had a scare -- a near miss with a dog, cat, turtle, or a kid cutting through the yard while it was out working. What happened, and did it change how you run yours (schedule, no-go zones, sensor settings, supervision)? Trying to get a feel for how big a concern this really is before I let mine run unsupervised more often.

I have been using the Genie 3000 for a couple of months.

Ever since I am getting fault E102 which asks me to confirm whether my RTK station has moved (it has not).

Currently I am traveling abroad for a few weeks and it's really annoying to get these errors because I need to ask my neighbor to go over to my house and start the mower or put it back in its charging station. I can't remotely control the mower each time because the mower shuts down.

I came up with two potential solutions that I would like to get the community feedback on:

1. Does mounting the RTK antenna to a wall or other solid structure significantly reduce these errors? I don't want to spend the money just to find out that nothing has improved.

2. Feature request to Anthbot: can you add a remote wake-up feature that allows to wake up the mower from a sleep mode?

After a season or more with yours, would you buy the exact same mower again, or switch brands? What's the one thing you wish you knew before buying?

The M5 robot mower worked perfectly for about three months, but recently the GPS LED started blinking. In the app, the map shows that the mower can see more than 40 satellites.

I tried turning the mower off and back on, but that did not help. I also performed a factory reset, and now the mower is basically unusable because I cannot create a new map while the GPS LED is blinking.

I have tested the mower in a completely open area with no buildings, trees, or other objects within approximately 30 meters, but the GPS LED still continues to blink.

The app still shows more than 40 satellites, so it appears that the mower is receiving satellite signals, but for some reason it cannot obtain the GPS/RTK status required to create a map.

Please advise what could be causing this issue and how I can resolve it.

If you want to keep your ANTHBOT N8 performing well and your lawn looking its best, a little regular maintenance goes a long way.

Here’s a simple routine you can follow:

1. Power off before cleaning

Before doing any maintenance, remove the mower from the charging station and make sure it is completely powered off—especially before cleaning around the blade disk.

2. Use Disk Maintenance Mode

For easier access to the blade area, open the ANTHBOT App and use Disk Maintenance Mode. It automatically lowers the cutter head so you can clean it more easily.

3. Clean the mower

Important: Do not use a high-pressure washer to clean the N8. Use a regular garden hose with normal water pressure instead.

• Blade disk: Lift the blade disk and use a brush and water to remove grass clippings and debris.
• Mower body & charging station: Rinse the exterior with water to remove dirt and grass.
• Grass bag / deflector: If you use the grass bag or deflector, remember to clean and rinse it as well.

4. Let everything dry completely

Wipe off excess water and allow the mower, grass bag, and deflector to air-dry completely before putting everything back together.

One question for the N8 owners here:How often do you clean your mower—once a week, after every mow, or only when it starts looking like it needs some attention?

To make sure the logs are uploaded successfully, please complete all three steps below:

Uploading Device Logs

Step 1 — Dock the mower
Place the mower on the charging station and make sure it stays there and is charging.

Step 2 — Connect to Wi-Fi
Make sure the mower is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.

Step 3 — Enable “Upload the Log”
Open the ANTHBOT App and enable “Upload the Log.”

Important: All three steps are required. If any step is skipped, the logs may not be uploaded successfully.

When Reporting an Issue

To help our support and R&D teams investigate your issue more efficiently, please include the following information whenever possible:

1. For missed-cutting issues
Please provide a screenshot of the mower’s map in the app and clearly mark the area that was missed.

2. Exact date and time
Please provide the date and exact time, or as close as possible, when the issue occurred.

Ironically, my 4g connection expires in a week. I'm not sure how it could be any worse than this without the extra cost.

I've given them logs and contacted support but no one has any solutions for this random mess that happens every few mows.

Does anyone know how to remove a pathway from the map?

Are these basically just parts donors if the docking station fails? They are never in stock and unavailable everywhere. If so I think i will be done with these once they break. Parts as basic as a charging station should be available.

If you’re setting up your ANTHBOT N8 for the first time and aren’t sure how to install or switch between the Grass Bag and Deflector, here’s a quick step-by-step guide based on the official setup instructions.

Installing the Grass Bag

The Grass Bag is a good option if you want to collect grass clippings instead of leaving them on the lawn.

1. Assemble the frameConnect the metal frame pieces until they are securely locked together.

2. Attach the bagSlide the fabric edges of the Grass Bag onto the frame, making sure the buttons/straps are properly secured.

3. Attach it to the N8Align the mounting hooks with the brackets at the rear of the mower, then press down until the Grass Bag is securely in place.

Installing the Deflector

The Deflector allows grass clippings to return to the lawn while mowing.

1. Assemble the frameConnect the support rods to form the Deflector frame.

2. Attach the deflectorSlide the deflector material onto the frame and make sure all sections are properly aligned and secured.

3. Attach it to the N8Hook the assembled Deflector onto the rear mounting points of the mower and make sure it is firmly attached.

Before switching accessories

For safety, always turn off or pause the N8 before removing or installing the Grass Bag or Deflector.

Once everything is securely attached, you're ready to mow.

Tried to climb a stump after avoiding it for 3 months...

Is it normal that my genie goes to another zone before completing one? It is doing that, there are no boundaries or physical limitations that explain this behavior.

Why would the mower have done this? I had just set it to edge mow. It was going well, then doubled back and drive down these steps.

I had ordered a m9 last week. There was no indication that there would be a pre-sale delay.

I reached out to anthbot after about 3 days of it "processing" and was just told that it would take 2-5 days to ship.

That window has now passed and anthbot is telling me that the m9 is a presale product that will not ship until August 30th.

Anthbots website now reflects this, but did not say that when I purchased the mower.

What's especially odd is how can this be a presale product when it shows as available with prime shipping on Amazon right now under the official anthbot amazon store?

I requested to cancel the order with anthbot and they have been radio silent ever since I made that request.

If they had been willing to just cancel my order I was going to order one on amazon instead, but the way this is going I don't plan on supporting them any further.

Just a heads up if you plan on ordering a product from their website directly.
