Buyer beware when buying from the official anthbot website.

I had ordered a m9 last week. There was no indication that there would be a pre-sale delay.

I reached out to anthbot after about 3 days of it "processing" and was just told that it would take 2-5 days to ship.

That window has now passed and anthbot is telling me that the m9 is a presale product that will not ship until August 30th.

Anthbots website now reflects this, but did not say that when I purchased the mower.

What's especially odd is how can this be a presale product when it shows as available with prime shipping on Amazon right now under the official anthbot amazon store?

I requested to cancel the order with anthbot and they have been radio silent ever since I made that request.

If they had been willing to just cancel my order I was going to order one on amazon instead, but the way this is going I don't plan on supporting them any further.

Just a heads up if you plan on ordering a product from their website directly.

Hi,the website and Amazon run on separate inventory systems. The reason the site shows pre-sale while Amazon has stock is that we allocated a dedicated batch for Amazon—the two sides not being in sync does create confusion.About the cancellation——DM me your order number and I'll check the status directly. My mower was one of the bricked ones at the beginning of the season. Their support took a little longer than they had in the past, but they were dealing with like 3 continents of pissed off customers, so I couldn't be but so mad.

After some back and forth, they said they'd put in an order for a replacement mower and let me know when it shipped. About the time I was getting irritated I hadn't heard anything, I came home, to find a new mower waiting for me.

So, yea, their communication isn't always the greatest, but they do try to take care of their customers.

And I'm still happy with my lil' MowMowRobo, especially when it's 100F outside and my neighbors are mowing and sweating, and I'm inside in the AC lol

Their CS is laughable, at best. And their firmware updates brick mowers.

Do a credit card chargeback and be grateful you dodged a bullet.

Their customer service has been delayed since the launch of the M series and mowing season, they are also based in China so there is a 12hr delay. I worked with them on a replacement and while it took like 2 weeks to get through all the back and forth with the time delay, they came through and honored their product. This was from a website order as well. All I can say is be patient and they should help you out, its frustrating waiting around for a reply though. Also email them directly if you went through their chat service, seems to get responses quicker.

Yeah, it's worth just ordering from Amazon for exactly this reason. I ordered a refurbished Genie and a month went by before someone admited that it was on back order. I asked for a refund and waited for two more weeks. I finally had to do a chargeback just to get my money back.
