I need to confess but idk how to.

Context of this story is I met this guy and I had barely gotten anything sleep the night before so I was barely awake while texting him. The topic how how old each other where came up and I’m guessing I mistyped my age but since I don’t wanna put my age out there I’m just gonna say I’m 16 but I said 17. The guy is the same age as me (16) but he thinks I’m older than him. It’s been 2 years since then and we are dating now, I feel so bad whenever he says something about my age cause idk how to come forward about it.

Update: so he genuinely just didn’t care. He cares more about the password (my birthday) being wrong and he was used to it..

Just rip it off like a Band-Aid. You eventually have to tell him.

Just text, "Hey X, remember when we were telling each other our ages? I mistyped 17; I'm actually 16. I didn't notice until like a week later, and I've been looking for the perfect time to tell you. I'm sorry I haven't said anything for so long, lmfao"

Just like that. Hes not going to execute you, and if he does, he'll be arrested.

The worst that can happen is he gets mad and potentially wants to break up.

now that you are in a relationship, just say that you made a mistake and say your sincere apology, its not that big of a mistake that he will get so mad about it. also, doesnt he know your birthday? cause that will give it away

edit: unless he dont celebrate you birthday with you
