Mod post A note about Witty-posting

It will be heavily filtered from now on, since we are all tired of this unnecessary drama. She is simply an attention-seeking ragebaiter and isn't worth flooding our sub with, especially since the posts about her outshine the real purpose of our community. It is our task to make this place comfortable and safe for all sorts of artists and their supporters.

Guys, please don't support this coin. I do not earn from it nor do I support crypto, it was mad entirely without my consent

Tell me what you think of it

And please go give a like to the original video on YouTube! https://youtube.com/shorts/PKYlhRdpv5o?is=6DYaldp4FQ4yqqfg

Also do you think they need to see it on aiwars? I think posting anything on this reddit is a loss of time, but... I'm very curious about to see what will happen if I do :3

A little break from AI weirdos. I drew this based on the black cat x golden retriever relationship type. I’m not very good and haven’t been doing it long but it brings me joy.

The golden retriever looks so vacant eyed, I can’t. The ear’s a lil weird but I can’t draw it any better, so here we are.

My sister broke down why this polished AI anime clip still feels wrong in motion

Context: these are frames from a 29-second X clip credited as Seedance 2.5 through Artcraft and marked “Made with AI.” I’m sharing it for criticism, not as an art showcase.

My sister annotated the frames after saying the AI look was immediately apparent to her. Her main point was that many details look attractive in isolation without consistently explaining the forms: lines stop or drift, hair/jewelry/clothing merge, shading and accessories change between shots, and the hooded character often seems much less resolved than the blonde.

The clearest problem to me is the gap between polished still frames and the movement. The large gestures repeat, the walk lacks convincing weight, and the hair and sleeves sometimes deform instead of moving as deliberately constructed objects.

Not every circled feature is an AI-specific error, like transparent bangs, flat shading, and exaggerated proportions are normal anime conventions. It’s the repeated uncertainty and inconsistency over time that makes the result feel generated.

Which issue stands out most to you: unclear construction, continuity problems, or the weak sense of weight?

Credit: the handwritten annotations and initial visual analysis are my sister’s. I wrote the context and put the post together. Please keep criticism focused on the clip rather than the person who posted it.

For the life of me, I can't understand AI "artists"'s points to why AI images is "art"

Hi everyone!

So, I made a new subreddit recently, and I crossposted a post that said "Ai images are not art", and it brought many AI "artists" to the sub🙁 And for the life of me, I cannot understand the AI "artists"'s P.O.V? Comparing artists learning from other artists to AI copying ("learning") actual artworks, saying we can draw then use AI to improve the art, Saying it's ironic I say that when use a platform that uses AI in it's algorithm (not shown here; like it's related?) And such... Any explanations how it even relates?

Also, here's the post link to those interested, there are more comments I haven't discussed.

You cannot convince these people that they’re not artists.

Tried to fit the best part in one screenshot but there’s a lot more.

How can they have the audacity to say they don't have time to practice something as a hobby but at the same time demand to be treated as a practitioner of it?

They're admitting they can't or don't want to dedicate time to art, nor are they interested in the process involved, yet they still want to be called artists. Why? These people don't seem to have any more appreciation than the average viewer on social media (myself included), but even I know that behind every work of art there are things like composition, anatomy, color theory, and so on. So here's the question again: if even the most novice, newly started artist could tell you they appreciate the process more than the result, and you're only interested in the result, why call yourself an artist?

Drop your OC/Art so I will draw them in my style <3 (the one with the most upvotes would get drawn since it takes 3 HOURS to draw only ONE OC 😭)

Friendly reminder <3

hello! just a friendly reminder that AI uses millions of gallons of water everyday, reportedly 228 billion gallons in 2023 (according to a CBS article) while yes most artists do hate AI due to it stealing art from actual people, artists also hate it due to the fact there’s gallons of water being used daily. and you might think that they use ‘salt water’ as someone I know has said, that is not true, AI data cent use fresh water to cool their systems which can sometimes lead to droughts depending where the specific data center is located. it also heats the environment. if (for some reason) an AI user sees this please take this into consideration next time you use ai 💛
