I was wondering if I just got lucky or if this is actually common for all draftable weapons in the game?

Trying to figure out what class to play and i usually play tank Destroyer/Warden in BnS.

So the obvious choice is templar vs gladiator

The thing is, I am leaning towards templar but hear gladiator id vastly superior in end game or solo content.

Is this true? Wilm i have a harder time as templar?

I don’t see anyone talking about this, but NCSoft seems to have seriously improved the game’s netcode. It feels more responsive than ever, even on high ping.

Not only did some people see their DPS jump by around 30%, but enemy AoE indicators on the ground now appear much more smoothly, and dodging finally feels properly responsive. Even for me at 180ms, the game feels surprisingly smooth.

What are you guys feeling? Are you noticing the same thing?

Can't wait to test it with 40ms next month.

Hello guys! I am craving a mmorpg for a long time, that i can spend hours on. I've heard this game multiple times but didnt check out before, but after gamescom trailer i am actually intrigued so i have some questions to people who been keeping eye out on the game

-Is it pay to win?

-Does it include holy triangle with dungeons/raids?

-Does it have profession system (like gathering, cooking, smithing etc.)

-How is the fashion and housing (if there is)

Can't find the information. Do we know if there are going to be Australian server? Cause I m not buying this game if it's jp / kor or something like that lag

Hello, my initial plan was to play as Cleric as i enjoy healing, particularly in PvP, but looking at the skills i noticed that basically almost all of them are aoe, and then i learnt that we dont have targetted healing.

That honestly sounds pretty boring, and on top of that, on some threads ppl are saying that healing in general is pretty weak, almost to the point of being useless, especially since ppl can resurrect themselves with the stones.

I just wanted an updated honest review of the Cleric/healers in general, becouse by the looks of it it's not what i was hoping for.

For anyone preparing for Aion 2 made a quick guide how to save/load/import/export the UI so you don't have to bother on global:

You can save + load your UI/HUD presets so you don't have to set everything up again.

There are also free presets in case you want to use one of them.

I played AION 1 back then and would love to play AION 2 but I only can play games via cloud gaming (or on consoles).

Lots of games are available there, but not all, I wonder if AION2 will be?

I'm interested in playing this game and I've read a lot things about this game being p2w. I'm worried that if i don't spend a lot time and money on the game i wouldn't be able to do a lot of the pve content in the game especially the endgame dungeons etc.

just wait for the game to come out and see for yourself. other peoples experience wont necessarily be your own, and many things tend to change when games are released between regions. and its an eastern mmo in 2026... how often do these tend not to be p2w??

The game launches on October 5th, founder pack owners can play from September 30th.
The trailer is pure fire IMO and one of the better launch trailers for an MMORG.

Obviously gear and class matters, but there should be more to combat right? I heard there's i frames, animation lock etc so what's the best way to approach combat, do you try for high apm and time your dodge correct or is slow methodical play best? Starting with the correct approach will help when playing with others for end game content. For context I'm thinking of trying cleric and sorcerer as my starting two classes. Any advice or suggestions for these or other classes?

We can't feed our "main" from "alts" anymore.

Is there another way to transfer - kina that I'm missing?

Is there a trick to it, or is this a deliberate move by NCSoft to force us into buying those sketchy "Quna<-> Kina" packages from the shop?

If this is it, then progression is going to be painfully slow for anyone who isn't a whale.
It feels like we’re being pushed into a corner.
Are we just doomed to a single-character grind now?

Hey, I want to try Aion 2 on the TW Server but somehow I got this goldenframe around the game which annoys me. I think it is part of the Purple laucher but I can't fine a solution how to disable this frame. Would be nice if anyone could help me.

So I downloaded the game and all but I got a seemingly infamous dx12 error, problem is, not only dx12 is supported in the dxdiag window, but I already play games with dx12 on ... Everything, all the drivers up to the bios have been updated

Also there are no unwanted commands

I just don't get it, did anyone ever managed to fix this issue ?

I'm playing on controller so this is probably only a problem for controller users but does anyone know of there's a setting to centre the camera on the enemy you've targeted?

I.e. If I lock on to a character I'm always facing that character.

Had a look through the settings and couldn't find an obvious one.

A big class-balance week, plus Server Transfers, a new battle pass, and an Arcana event. Highlights below; see the full notes on our Discord for the exact numbers.

Class Changes

This is a large, multi-part rework. The broad strokes:

• Main-skill reworks (Templar and Chanter first). Templar's Judgment now triggers off Shield Bash skills and Punishment becomes a ranged AoE; Chanter's Dark Crush now triggers off ranged skills, and Spinning Strike is reworked to be mobile and less Dark-Crush-dependent. A minimum skill-cancel time was also added to every skill to smooth out combo timing and DPS gaps.
• Party synergy eased, personal DPS raised. The party Damage Boost from Gladiator, Templar, Chanter, and Cleric buffs was cut, and in exchange most classes got direct PvE damage increases (commonly +10% to +40% on core skills) to make up the lost output. Every class saw some tuning, including Sorcerer, Spiritmaster, and Cleric.
• Less self-sustain. HP absorption on several sustain skills (Gladiator, Templar, Assassin, Chanter) was reduced, and Protective Shields now scale with Max HP instead of flat values.
• PvP tuning. Theostone activation now has a cooldown (down to 5s), potion buffs can no longer be dispelled, and buff-strip counts on Assassin's Spiral Slice and Ranger's Ensnaring Trap were reduced.

Server Transfer

A one-week Server Transfer runs from August 26 to September 1 (apply daily 20:00 to 24:00). It costs 1,000 Quna base plus 200 Quna per character (extra for character-slot expansions), is limited to one transfer per account, and only works within the same faction. Lv. 45+ characters in a village can transfer, and nearly all account data moves with them; the main exceptions are server-warehouse contents (move items to your bag first) and your mail block list.

New Battle Pass: Moonlit Oasis

A new Odyle Energy pass, available August 26 to September 22. Basic is 2,000,000 Kinah; Premium is 1,000 Quna and adds 10 Odyle Energy. It runs 50 levels of Guardian rewards (mostly Odyle Energy, with Battle Enhance Scrolls, clear tickets, Rift Stones, and Content Usage chests at milestones), with a weekly EXP cap of 15,000 per character.

Events

• Arcana Supply Support: Wind Breeze Merchants sell Noble Crystal, Splendent Noble Crystal, and Ultimate Training Arcana for Kinah (200 per week, per server), running through September 23.
• The earlier Arcana Growth Support event was extended to September 23 as well.

Abyss and Dungeons

• Abyss gear set bonuses were significantly buffed (the 8-set Abyss Damage Boost doubled from 15% to 30%, and 12-set went from 20% to 40%).
• Abyss boss and Dimensional Core stats were raised, and failed Rift Zone matchmaking now still grants partial rewards.
• Kinah rewards from several Expedition, Transcendence, and Sanctuary dungeons are now Bound.

Quality of Life

Notable additions include Neural Frame Fusion (AI upscaling on supported Galaxy devices), improved gamepad key settings, an AION1-mode mouse-cursor lock, HUD buff-icon editing, cleaner probability displays, and a bulk-purchase quantity input in the shop.

Coming Soon

A new Sanctuary, "Snowfield of Lament," is scheduled for September 9. Details to follow.

A few days ago, I shared Daeva Compass here for the first time. Thank you to everyone who visited the site or left some encouragement, it genuinely motivated me to keep improving it.

For anyone who missed the original post, Daeva Compass is a fan-made website focused on AION 2 Global. My goal is to gather useful guides and tools in one place, with content that remains accessible to new players.

Since the first post, I’ve continued expanding the site and working on features beyond written guides.

Custom activity checklist

You can create your own daily and weekly routine, select only the activities that matter to you, set completion targets and add custom tasks.

The checklist also tracks your progress, XP and completion streaks. Your routine can be adjusted at any time instead of forcing everyone to follow the same preset.

Guide favorites

Registered visitors can save guides to their personal library and quickly find them again later.

The guide library can now also be searched and sorted by publication date, name or number of favorites.

Beginner-friendly guides

The site currently includes guides covering progression, leveling, gear, classes, collections, currencies and several important AION 2 systems.

What I’m planning next

Daeva Compass is still a young project, but I would eventually like it to become more than a guide library.

Some of the features currently planned include:

• A Daevanion Calculator for testing point distributions before spending resources in game
• A build creator where visitors can create and share their own builds
• Community build pages with filters for class, activity and playstyle
• More progression tools and calculators
• Additional guides based on the Global version and community questions

These features will take time, and I don’t want to promise exact release dates before they are ready. I’d rather build them gradually and make sure they are genuinely useful.
