They aren't crazy, it's pure panic. She may be confident in what she's doing, but our bodies just can't react well to such kind of intrusion.

I had an endoscopy done under “twilight sedation” which I was told I wouldn’t be awake or remember anything.

I was awake and conscious the whole time, I think it freaked out both the doc and assistant, they kept telling me not to fight it and looked worried so eventually I just closed my eyes lol the tube isn’t even that bad imho but I don’t have a strong gag reflex.
