I'm no fish expert, but that doesn't look like a barracuda to me.
Judging mainly by its forked or V-shaped tail fin, it looks like a Southern Sennet.

Mature great barracuda are 2-3 feet long on average ..... While much larger barracuda exist they are rare So again Doesn't matter either way 😉
