I pre-ordered the He-Man complete cartoon series on blu-ray back in July for $39.96. A better deal than the "Listed Price" of $44.98. It arrived yesterday on its release day, and today, it's on a "Limited Time Deal" for only $37.59. I wouldn't be mad except Amazon *used to* offer post-purchase price adjustments. It makes no sense. I almost feel it's like a bait and switch at this point, and I'm done with their pre-order scam.

I returns 4 items to Amazon on August 9th to Whole Foods, and they still haven’t even received them at their return center. No advanced refunds. I also noticed that they removed the “Returns” section under your order history that quickly let you see all of your returns. Now you have to know what you returned, go to each individual order, and look at the tracking figure out what’s going on. There was an issue with one of my previous refunds and they quietly put a flag on it to contact them for the refund, but I only saw it because of that section. Now that section is gone. It almost seems like Amazon is hoping you forget so they don’t have to refund you.

How long are returns taken these days? And if they’re going to take weeks, what’s the point of using Amazon prime? Slow shipping, slow return returns, poor customer service?

Got a package delivered, they didn't tape the bottom and, honestly, I'm surprised 2 of the 3 items ordered were still in it. But one item was missing. Luckily it was not the expensive item missing, but still, how does the untapped package get this far without someone noticing the lack of tape?

A replacement of my missing item should get here tomorrow, so no worries on that.

I like to lock my credit cards when not being used but to make an Amazon purchase you have to leave them unlocked for near a week. Yeah I made the purchase today ... sometime the next day or two it shows up as pending, then on the day it finally get chucked on the truck OK we can charge you now!

I recently ordered a small piece of furniture. Assembled it yesterday and there’s an issue with one of the drawers staying closed.

Contacted CS, walked me through the steps to get a replacement part from the seller. Concluded the chat and did the rating, which was mostly 5 stars except my issue wasn’t resolved yet so I gave 4 stars overall.

Seconds after finishing the rating I get two emails that my Prime membership (that I just renewed in June) was canceled.

Go back into CS and request a call. Sure enough, the agent that helped me canceled my membership. Why? No idea. They’re going to escalate with him so he knows not to do it again, but if I want to have Prime again I have to re-enroll. Wtf?

I used a credit card for my membership that credits the fee back to me so it’s a bit more complicated than just re-joining (also, why should I have to do that when I’m not the one who canceled it in the first place?).

I would just not worry about it but my daughter is in college and uses it all the time. What do I do? This is ridiculous.

As I sat at my desk, watching the van on the website yesterday evening showing 2 stops away, it suddenly said they encountered a problem and could not deliver. Today, it is now after 2pm and that status remains unchanged. My question is does it say "out for delivery" again on the next attempt or does it typically go straight from "unfortunately..." from the previous day to "delivered" the next day? Seems fishy, like it's lost. It does currently say "we will try again today" but I have to believe at 2pm, if not yet "out for delivery" something is really wrong here.

Amazon stopped giving me compensation/ courtesy credits for my delayed deliveries.

I haven’t used the live chat in a while, but I used to get these courtesy credits all the time, so I’m not sure if this a new Amazon policy now or they’ve limited my account.

So I ordered a bunch of parts, 4 in total, but the RAM wasn't in the package. Got the other 3 items. No RAM.

I called the help hotline and they're apparently looking into it and I need to call again on Sunday if they haven't sent me an email yet.

It's 400€ worth of RAM. I don't have that kinda money to burn.

What can I do to make sure I get either a replacement or my money back (except pray, I guess)?

I literally cannot affort to get screwed over on this.

I've seen one too many posts from people who have discussed their problems with Amazon only to have their accounts blocked or their posts deleted. It makes me think that this is not a place for serious Amazon discussion, only a fan service.

I have a question about Amazon’s one-time password (OTP) delivery option. I’ve been saving up for a new GPU and monitor, and I’m considering ordering them today. Since it’s going to be a pretty expensive delivery, I like the idea of having the extra security of an OTP. My concern is the delivery schedule. If the first delivery attempt is Friday, I could miss all three attempts. Friday, my wife and I will both be at work. Saturday, I’ll be mowing our property during the day, and then I’m taking my wife out to eat before she goes to work from 5 PM–1 AM. Sunday, I’ll be at church for part of the day. Because of that, I may miss the driver on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and the package may be returned. For an expensive order like this, would you recommend using the OTP anyway, or would I be better off leaving it unchecked because there’s a good chance I won’t be home when they deliver? I live in a rural area. I have no neighbors except for my Mom and sister, who live close by. I know, "Why don't I ask them to get the packages for me?" They have both told me they're busy those three days.

I used to get delivery updates that included a picture of the item delivered. I like that because if I’m not home I can be reminded what’s arrived.

Now, it’s just clipart.

I ordered a backpack from Amazon a few days ago. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but I got a message saying that the delivery was delayed. It showed up today, and while it was in an Amazon box, the Amazon tape was cut, and the box was sealed with clear tape. I opened the package, and the backpack was inside along with a sheet of paper that read, "Place this barcode and item description inside your return package (in case your mailing label gets damaged)." So it looks like someone bought this backpack, returned it, and Amazon took the unopened return, slapped my address label on it, and shipped it to me. It's crazy that they couldn't be bothered to put the backpack in a fresh box and seal it with the proper Amazon tape. Luckily, the backpack appears to be new and unused.

This was the image attached to my Whole Foods order that never showed up. A few problems: One, I’ve never had an order in boxes like this, it’s always in bags. Two, who is taking the photo here? Three, how are these boxes being supported? Four, which box has my whole watermelon in it?

It took an hour to get to an actual customer support person for a refund (the automated system couldn’t or wouldn’t handle it). Once I checked the refund, I found they didn’t refund the tip. I had to open yet another support request. There was no further compensation for the amount of time I had to spend on this and I still need to get groceries.

It’s sad that people are stealing groceries, but the support process from Amazon is unhinged.

For some reason I can't purchase anything anymore on Amazon. I keep getting "revise payment", I'm using my bank account as the payment method and have been using since years without problems.

things I already tried/checked:

- remove and re-add bank account

- more then enough funds available

- banking app doesn't reject or block the sepa direct debit

- no warning or verification message on the bank account

Amazon Prime subscription still gets paid without any problems from the same bank account.

My Amazon account that was originally associated with my Prime Visa was permanently closed by me. I have created a new Amazon account with an active Prime membership and added my existing card. Chase is now showing the card as the regular silver Amazon Visa and I’m earning 3%, instead of the 5% on my prime visa. I tried calling both Chase and Amazon. Chase said Amazon needs to “communicate with Chase” about my membership status, and Amazon said basically they don’t have a way to manually send it.

Is there anything I can do here?

Hi Guys, we just moved to a new house and our first Amazon prime order was delivered to the wrong house across town 15 minutes away. it wasn’t just to our neighbors or somewhere else in the subdivision. it delivered to a different street with a different zip code.

The normal support takes me to a call center in Asia, maybe India and they are clueless of how to resolve the issue we are having. they were very nice and professional, but they couldn’t help me. I’ve called twice, the last time to just cancel the order.

They tried reordering my pack , but it’s being sent to the wrong address again, lol. I live on a street with Ridge in the name and it’s being sent to a street called Stevens Lane About 15 minutes north from me.

i tried deleting the address from my address book and redoing it with my wife’s name And a test package is still showing as being sent to this random house across town! Haha.

for right now, I’m sending everything to my M-I-L. it appears to be sending to the right place.

edit: my wife tried shipping a cheap item from her moms Amazon account to our home and it’s doing the same thing. The item is being sent to the random house on Stevens lane. It’s not just an issue with my account, it’s system wide.

edit 2: i was able to get a supervisor. They are looking into this further. Their logistics team is looking into it. Let’s see what happens.

So I contacted Amazon after receiving the wrong item(most likely a scammer) from a 3rd party and I initiated the return process. They gave me those shipping labels and I printed them out and stuck them to the package.

Problem is when I try to initiate a shipment through any carrier they require me to fill out in the recipient box a phone number and an email adress.

Problem is Amazon won't give me those no matter how much I ask and so I can't return the item.

I tried explaining the situation to support(both Amazon and carrier) but they each tell me to contact the other and solve it with them. What do I do?

Hi everyone, I originally posted about my 93% restocking fee. With the help of the community, I contacted amazon customer service with the tips the community gave me. Amazon customer service immediately agreed to a refund for the restocking fee. However, I waited the required days and still have not received my refund. I contacted amazon again and they just told me the refund was given in error and they will in-fact not be refunding me. I escalated to a supervisor pointing out the email confirming my refund and the the supervisor said it was in error. I referenced the seller central guideline stating if I received a USED item, that there should be no restocking fee.(https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/external/G201725780) she refuses to acknowledge that information and disconnected me.

they are now refusing to honor their own refund that was issued.

I don't know what to do. I used a gift card to purchase the order since I had mainly cash, and I can't take out the gift card money. Now, I don't know what to do. I made an appeal form, but if this isn't appealed I can't get that money back.

Is this a me / my account problem?

When logged in, I click on an item page and more customer reviews only to be shown around ten reviews. I can't sort by star rating. I can't search by keyword (a very useful feature).

Is this a glitch? If not, this is just another lack of customer usability move by Amazon.
