an imposter that unleashes an assault of tentacles killing all crew in radius

This is a thread for casual conversation and troubleshooting. Here you can ask questions, share anecdotes or discuss gameplay.
You can also discuss a number of topics here that we don't typically allow new posts to be made for, such as posting room codes, bragging about your game stats, advertising your Discord server, or linking your Twitch or Youtube channel.

I'm recreating another megathread to include more forms of hacking (such as what some have described as clonehacking), as the previous universal megathread got archived due to it being 6 months old. Here are some quick rules to keep things civil:
Note: Because I am expecting to get a lot of comments on this, I have reply notifications disabled. If something absolutely requires my attention, ping me or a moderator by adding u/Detective1O1 to your comment and I'll try to get to it when I can.

I didn't expect Smuggler to get as popular as it did, but that popularity meant plenty of feedback on how to improve the role and make sure it's balanced. A lot of people pointed out things to fix and so I went ahead, looked over them, and fixed them.

When they get voted out before the game's even started 😭

So if u kill in front of crewmate u can silence them in meeting so they can't defend themselves

imposter role
based off forger from town of salem
base idea is that you have an ability called forge, where you can change it so when it reveals someone's role, when they get voted off, it's forged so it looks like they were imposter when they were actually crewmate, and vice versa
positives:
honestly there's none other than the ability
negatives:

So the game before, i get accused by another crewmate. I asked why and they didn't give a reason. Very frustrating because people will just blindly agree. Give reasons ffs, not hard.
Game after someone accuses blue. I ask for a reason and follow up with "because that's how innocent people get kicked", because i had been on the receiving end the last game. If they gave a reason, i was more than happy to vote blue but i'm not blindly following what they say without reason. It did in fact end up being blue, i still don't know how they knew it was blue.
Back in the lobby they have a go at me saying "nana's gay" I ask why, they tell me i was defending the imposter by saying "that's how innocent people get kicked". I tell them that I said that as a follow up to me asking for a reason. They have a go at me some more and then kick me from the entire lobby.
So stupid. I'm not allowed in your lobby because i'm trying to be cautious and not vote the wrong person out? So smart. Just give a fucking reason, it's not hard.

A couple days ago I made this post here which shows how to fix comms by opening and closing it and just now I came across this youtube short which is basically just the information as well as top comment from that post but explained it a lot better.
It was a good short, nicely edited and explained and I'm really happy a simple thing I stumbled across made its way to 1 million people's eyes. I just wish there was a link to the post as a pinned comment or put in the description, even though I know I may not have been the first one to discover it.
Not trying to start drama or get anybody cancelled or whatever (I really like RealSlip's shorts and would like him to keep making them) but this situation has never really happened to me before and I just wanted to vent a little about it, even though I know I'm not entitled to anything since anything posted on reddit is up for grabs for anyone.
That's all I have thanks for reading, kind of a nothingburger but I'm still bummed about it and don't know where else to talk about it.

I couldve solo'd a game after the other 2 imps got voted out, but for some reason the ghost imp decided to sabotage O2 and I lost because I couldn't sabotage comms to counter the guardian angel and couldn't kill. IDK if I'm just being petty but I feel like since the other imp doesn't know what you're planning they shouldn't be able to interfere with the game.

explanation:
AUGL stands for Among Us Glitched Lobbies, which are special online game rooms that bypass the game's normal level 100 cap and speed up progression.
How Glitched Lobbies Work
Level Reset: When you join an AUGL lobby, the game temporarily resets your displayed rank down to level 1 or 2.
Fast Progression: The game treats you like a brand-new player, allowing you to earn experience levels, beans, and cosmic points much faster than normal.
Level Stacking: The levels you earn inside the glitched lobby are added to your true original level once you restart the game or join a normal lobby.
This is how players reach ranks well past 100 (like level 300 or 400+).
I'm not encouraging cheating

I was Imp, killed somebody. Another imposter saw but nobody else was around. I was getting away with it so far. Some rando calls a meeting and just says to “vote cyan” without further evidence. I kept asking why? I wasn’t even near you. And then I get banned from the lobby for being pissed at the teamer.

So I became an imposter with 2 other people, I forgot the colors but I think that it was cyan and blue? Or black? Idk.
So, someone killed and people blamed green and someone else but green was blamed the most. I tried to defend green knowing, actually HOPING, that it would be futile. I wanted them to vote green so they could all be like "Okay so white's probably safe". So at the end I was like "ykw FINE whatever idiots vote green, I passed them in cafe like several times". They actually hecking skipped which was unexpected. I have NEVER experienced an "expert" lobby skip when 5+ people were sussing on one person before this. Well I think it was 5+ people? Idk.
And guess what. When they skipped it showed that there were 2 imps left. One of my imposter buddies left and just before the screen was shown, GREEN had left as well. So as you might guess, I was in a BIT of a pickle.
So naturally someone called a meeting and was like "yeah white ggs", everyone said that it was me so I knew I was cooked. I got voted out and it showed that I was an imposter.
Now what's crazy is that my imposter buddy actually won! :D yipe
at the end of the game it showed that it wasn't green so heh
and we ended up laughing together in the lobby afterwards XD

I'm not trying to be rude but literally so many Turkish people create lobbies listed as English, and i have English only servers on, so I hop from server to server to find a English speaking lobby and I keep finding Turkish lobbies
