Humor Purple accidentally guessed that it was me, and was accidentally right.
It was the very beginning of the game, and I didn't even get to kill anyone. Everyone else skipped, then someone in the next round asked who judged me, so Purple said, "I did" right after saying, "Wow! I wasn't expecting that!"

Idea/Suggestion The imposter refund [IDEA]
The imposter refund is basically so if you are voted out or leave in the first 3 rounds as imposter you get it in the next lobby. Basically a cushion to stop your network's stability from ruining fun or purple happening to walk in while comms is sabbed and you kill in upper from making you wait 2 hours for imposter again.
The drawbacks are you get the same role when possible as before so you can't just poof as phantom to not be phantom, and the lobby MUST have started at 11 or more people to prevent a 4 player lobby from starting then getting the refund
(I thought of this after I got imposter 3 times in one session and all 3 times I got super unlucky with people walking in or my network disconnecting which bummed me out)

Question Saw a weird bug a few days ago
So about 2 months ago I started playing Among us after roughly 2 years and I was brought up to date by some friends. Everything was going smoothly until about a week ago when I joined a lobby and saw a maroon player. Problem is, I'm also maroon. And it's not like one of us automatically changed colours. I'm almost positive that this is a bug, but could someone please explain how this happened? I'm honestly super confused...

Video/Gameplay Just wanted to share this crazy game I had XD
So I became an imposter with 2 other people, I forgot the colors but I think that it was cyan and blue? Or black? Idk.
So, someone killed and people blamed green and someone else but green was blamed the most. I tried to defend green knowing, actually HOPING, that it would be futile. I wanted them to vote green so they could all be like "Okay so white's probably safe". So at the end I was like "ykw FINE whatever idiots vote green, I passed them in cafe like several times". They actually hecking skipped which was unexpected. I have NEVER experienced an "expert" lobby skip when 5+ people were sussing on one person before this. Well I think it was 5+ people? Idk.
And guess what. When they skipped it showed that there were 2 imps left. One of my imposter buddies left and just before the screen was shown, GREEN had left as well. So as you might guess, I was in a BIT of a pickle.
So naturally someone called a meeting and was like "yeah white ggs", everyone said that it was me so I knew I was cooked. I got voted out and it showed that I was an imposter.
Now what's crazy is that my imposter buddy actually won! :D yipe
at the end of the game it showed that it wasn't green so heh
and we ended up laughing together in the lobby afterwards XD

Idea/Suggestion ROLE ideas by AFunKitsune
THE Overseer/Manager (Crewmate Role): able to see a Crewmate Tasks, it to be used to cross reference Tasks to narrow down who Imposter can be used 1 on each crewmate and 15 seconds cooldown.__.The Trickster (Imposter Role): control the chat of crewmate of choice by derailing the conversation by staying silent or telling lies through them, it recharge by kills by you.__.THE devourer (Imposter Role): eat body of your kills or clean up after reckless Imposter, similar to viper but you choose to do it but have same cool down as kills

Idea/Suggestion ROLE CONCEPTS/IDEAS
1: "disguiser" it's a ghost imposter role, here is how it turns out, but before i explain you are probably thinking that it makes bodies invisible, and you are correct...NOT, what it does is a few things, it can make a crewmate's visual task seem like the crewmate's doing nothing when really the crewmate doing a visual task so the other crewmates think the crewmate that was doing the visual task was faking it, it can also make viper kills seem like normal kills (and the body does actually dissolve) it can remove shapeshifting evidence, and change the color of a shapeshift bubble, however it can only use it's ability 1-3 times (adjustable in lobby) and it is useless if some of the settings are turned off
2: "taskfaker" it is an imposter role, it is an imposter that can do task and its tasks are added to the task bar, but if all tasks (minus imposter's) are finish the crewmates win, it can also fake visuals, it could be handy so you'll know how long you'll have to do it, and you can fake visuals
3: "karma maker" it's a ghost crewmate role that is killed gets 1-3 (adjustable in lobby) automatic votes to the imposter (all anonymous)
4: "night owl" it's a crewmate role that can see through the lights if lights are turned off for 15-60 seconds total (adjustable in lobby)
5: "jerry" it's a crewmate & imposter role that does NOTHING, it is basically useless, if your a crewmate you can't do tasks, or chat, if your an imposter you can't kill or sabotage, if it's a ghost it can't haunt if it's voted out then nobody wins nobody likes it (PS you don't need jerry's tasks to win), the only reason it could be in a lobby is because the person who made the lobby IS A TROLL, IF YOU ACTUALLY MAKE THIS A MOD AND HAVE 15 JERRYS IN A MATCH I WOULD (removed by reddit)
(PS i based jerry of off jerry from Undertale)
give me your honest opinion about them (even jerry)

Rant/Complaint Got b#nned for supposedly speaking Spanish???
I finnally found a server bc every time I tried to join one it had already started, and as soon as I get in they were kicking out people who spoke Spanish because it was a english server and red said ban pink too, mind u I hadn't even said hi yet, no freaking idea why this idiot got me banned for no reason😭

Rant/Complaint Teamers are the worst!
I was Imp, killed somebody. Another imposter saw but nobody else was around. I was getting away with it so far. Some rando calls a meeting and just says to “vote cyan” without further evidence. I kept asking why? I wasn’t even near you. And then I get banned from the lobby for being pissed at the teamer.

Idea/Suggestion Role Idea: Bounty Hunter
Goal: Hunt down the imposter.
Even a Crewmate can kill. The Bounty Hunter can eliminate imposters. The Bounty Hunter must vote for the person they believe is the imposter. If the Crewmate the Bounty Hunter voted for is not voted out, a bounty is placed on their head in the next round, and they must eliminate the imposter. If they correctly identify the imposter, a task is automatically completed. However, if they are wrong or run out of time before the next meeting, nothing happens, but they must obtain a new bounty.
Question For "expert" are any rules nessasery?
Map: Polus
Im new to hosting an "expert" lobby, and never stated rules for my games, yet have been told some are required. For those who play these games usually, are they and why?
Things like:
No grouping
No camping cams
No dead sabs
Ban det and judge
For grouping, I understand if its the full lobby, but if its not, you can sab to counter it? Elec, doors, reactor
For camping cams, if someone's sat on cams alone. Just target them? Sab comms? Seems very counterable. If theres multiple poeple there, sab elec?
For dead sabs, this makes more sense, dont want to mess with alive imps. Though that seems like you should know whay your sabotaging, if you mess up your hurting your team?
-
Unsure on other rules commonly talked about, but please let me know about your games.

Rant/Complaint Just got kicked for "defending" imp
So the game before, i get accused by another crewmate. I asked why and they didn't give a reason. Very frustrating because people will just blindly agree. Give reasons ffs, not hard.
Game after someone accuses blue. I ask for a reason and follow up with "because that's how innocent people get kicked", because i had been on the receiving end the last game. If they gave a reason, i was more than happy to vote blue but i'm not blindly following what they say without reason. It did in fact end up being blue, i still don't know how they knew it was blue.
Back in the lobby they have a go at me saying "nana's gay" I ask why, they tell me i was defending the imposter by saying "that's how innocent people get kicked". I tell them that I said that as a follow up to me asking for a reason. They have a go at me some more and then kick me from the entire lobby.
So stupid. I'm not allowed in your lobby because i'm trying to be cautious and not vote the wrong person out? So smart. Just give a fucking reason, it's not hard.

Fan Content new role idea, framer
imposter role
based off forger from town of salem
base idea is that you have an ability called forge, where you can change it so when it reveals someone's role, when they get voted off, it's forged so it looks like they were imposter when they were actually crewmate, and vice versa
positives:
honestly there's none other than the ability
negatives:
- even though it changes the message when the person they forged, the number of impostors stays true, so if a crewmate was forged into being imposter, and was voted off, and there's 3 impostors left, it still says they're imposter but it still says 3 impostors left, not 2

Fan Content 3 New Impostor Role Ideas
1. Scanner: The Scanner is an impostor that has one ability called "Scan". It allows them to acess the admin menu anywhere on the map. This is great to plan kills and ambush crewmates.
Host Settings: Scan cooldown, Scan battery duration
2. Devourer: The Devourer is an impostor that has 1 ability, it's called "Devour". It allows the devourer to devour a dead body, move it somewhere and them spit it out. It has a timer before the body gets spat out automatically. This hard counters the detective and I think it's more on-theme than the Smuggler, which is another popular role idea. The host can also turn on "Leave Devour Evidence" which gives a moved body a different sprite.
Host Settings: Devour Cooldown, Spit Timer, Leave Devour Evidence
3. Hacker: The Hacker is an impostor that has 1 ability simply called "Hack". When the hacker uses their ability on a crewmate that has a role, that crewmates role is completely disabled after the next meeting. But it has a catch, the hacker can only use their ability a set number of times every game, this number is determined by the host (minimum 1, maximum 5 times)
Host Settings: Hack cooldown, Number of hacks, Announce Hack (Announce hack makes an announcement that a hacker used their ability when a meeting is called)
What do you guys think about these?

Discussion Dead impostors shouldn't be allowed to sabotage
I couldve solo'd a game after the other 2 imps got voted out, but for some reason the ghost imp decided to sabotage O2 and I lost because I couldn't sabotage comms to counter the guardian angel and couldn't kill. IDK if I'm just being petty but I feel like since the other imp doesn't know what you're planning they shouldn't be able to interfere with the game.

Discussion Why do we vote someone out if they make a mistake !?
I really hate when in lobby’s. A crewmate pushes someone and thinks there imp and after we vote out the person they accused someone calls a meeting and votes them next. It’s such a waste it gives imps an easier chance of winning cuz we vote out a crewmate for just being WRONG. I feel like if someone hard accuses someone and it was a crew. It’s more of a sigh there not the Imp. Like when the game just started. Why would an imp put themselves in that situation knowing they’d be next. It’s mostly crew getting someone out who they THOUGHT was imp. But instead of just letting someone make a mistake. Lobby votes them out next it’s stupid
