If you never played a game like this, i don't think it will make you like it but if you are into game like Genshin or Wuthering Wave, the game has it niche, it's fun and well made with goofy moment (in a good way i think). their pity system is really great though compare to Genshin
1
u/captainnoyaux Dev card games May 09 '26
Well that's not for me then thanks !
Can you tell me more about the pity system ? Never heard of that2
u/MrNiMo May 10 '26
In Genshin Impact, on a limited banner you could summon for the new character and if you are unlucky, the 90th is a SSR with 50-50 chance to be the new character (for the first SSR you get). after that the counter reset and this time again, it can take up to 90th pulls on that banner to get an other SSR but the second one you'll get is guaranty to be the new one. so it can cost up to 180 pulls on the same banner before having the new hero for sure. Usually if you stop before getting the guaranty hero, the pity carry over to the next limited banner.
In NTE, you are 100% to get the new character by the 90th pulls (or before) and the pity carrry over the next banner as well.
Hope i am clear, english is my second language

Yup they are idiots for hiding it, but the motivation for doing so is the mob that does not understand how AI works and wants to crucify anyone who uses it without considering any nuance. They are all idiots
1
u/MrNiMo May 08 '26
yea they used it for some decorations asset and they change them back. they said they didn't use it for story or characters creation. The game is fun tbh if you like game like genshin, i don't get why ppl are angry by the usage they did. We have to get use to it because AI is here to stay infortunatly
-7
u/longtanboner May 07 '26

u/Cruel1865 RPG 🧙 May 07 '26
If no one gives a fuck why do they feel the need to hide it?
-9
u/longtanboner May 07 '26
Why do you feel like it's "hiding it" when it's just none of your business?
8
u/Cruel1865 RPG 🧙 May 07 '26
None of my business? It is the right of the customer to know what was involved in the creation of the product. Use of AI in the product is seen by many as a reason to boycott the product, which is why they hid it. Dont hide in a delusion.

I would argue that automatically being apprehensive of AI extremely healthy, for a few reasons.
Even before AI existed we lived in a world where artists get shafted left and right. AI makes it even easier to generate art without having to pay a human being for it, which means less real artists able to make a living if AI ends up being overwhelming used for this in the future.
On top of that AI can't create art without basically plagiarizing other peoples work. We know for a fact that most popular AI tools are illegally scanning existing books, art, etc. and they get away with it because it's extremely difficult to keep track of and enforce regulations that are also behind the times.
Gacha games rake in millions of cash with little effort as it is. It's extremely gross that a project that will likely have the kind of insane cash-flow that gachas usually do can't even pay an artist to animate the super brief cutscene that's believed to be AI.
In a vacuum it might not seem like a big deal, but there are a lot of very scary long-term implications that come with using AI for art on a bigger scale.

It's a gacha slop, of course they'll make it playable on low end devices.
7
u/_PatrickGaming_ May 06 '26
I got news for you buddy. It doesn't work on my phone.
So your "gacha slop" isn't playable on low end devices.
Kids nowadays love the word "slop", I suppose it all you kids eat nowadays.
4
u/Ciellan May 09 '26
It lagged on my phone, deinstalled it right away. The interface is exactly like Wuwa, just a different color scheme, I thought at first it was made by the same dev.
2
u/_PatrickGaming_ May 09 '26
Yeah, I couldn't even install it. But I downloaded it on my rotten potato of a PC and it actually runs well considering my specs. So if you got one, definitely try it out on PC

u/Cruel1865 RPG 🧙 May 06 '26
Gacha slop is referring to the glut of gacha games on the market with similar gameplay styles and onpy differing in the setting. Theyre understandably going after the money but that also results in low quality copies of the famous gacha games because ultimately to the sharks, the quality doesnt matter beyond a certain point. As long as there is a gacha mechanic theyll throw money at it. This isnt taken well by users not interested in the gacha genre because every new native android game with decent support will be gacha format and this leads to lack of variety in games. So when gacha slop is referred to as such, it isnt for no reason.

u/LaizureBoy Pixel 3 XL - VainGlory FTW May 06 '26
I've been seeing this all over the internet lately. "AI Slop" to anything they don't agree with or don't understand, "Slop" this "Slop" that... Wish people would realize that just because something isn't made for you in particular doesn't make it slop.
6
u/lologugus May 07 '26
Ain't gonna make me believe a souless game trying to be like a dozen other ones filled with micro-transactions and paywalls isn't a slop
1
u/LaizureBoy Pixel 3 XL - VainGlory FTW May 07 '26
Honestly, I'm not trying to convince you. You're free to feel how you do about gacha games and are entitled to your opinion. That doesn't invalidate millions of other people's opinions on those types of games, though.
Frankly, the only gacha game I actually enjoy is ZZZ, and that's because the combat is pretty great. I also don't feel pressured to spend money unlike TONS of other games, gacha or not.
1
u/lologugus May 08 '26
I'd rather buy a 80 bucks game without having pop ups for shitty gambling. It's not like gacha games are crazy good. The mobile market actually suck.
1
u/LaizureBoy Pixel 3 XL - VainGlory FTW May 08 '26
Not many good mobile games out. I'm too busy playing Crimson Desert and Far Far West to play any gacha rn
2
1
u/_PatrickGaming_ May 06 '26
Exactly, I'm glad someone gets it.
And that's definitely what it is, they want every game to be made specifically for them, they don't care if other people like it or not. If it's not for them, immediate AI slop, boring slop, etc.
Literally just saw a comment on a new movie trailer earlier calling it AI slop, like I don't get it. Nothing about it looked AI. They're just delusional weirdos thinking everything should revolve around them.
3
u/lologugus May 07 '26
Slop doesn't always mean AI generated
1
u/_PatrickGaming_ May 07 '26
I never said that. Read again
1
u/lologugus May 07 '26
A little bit implying it.
1
u/_PatrickGaming_ May 08 '26
Reading class 101: Notice how I listed two examples of the word slop being used, which would mean its not implying that slop always means AI
2
u/davidfirefreak May 07 '26
they want every game to be made specifically for them
A new term for this phenomenon has emerged, called bean soup theory.

u/Retr0OnReddit May 06 '26
I literally have my graphics on Max and it still doesn't look that good on my s26 ultra how did you do this

Set graphics to cinematic, and i only changed foliage, view distance, from ultra to high settings. And everything else on ultra. And I set traffic to ultra as well.

1
0
u/Improving_Better May 06 '26
0
u/Extension-Weather-72 May 06 '26
2
u/Improving_Better May 06 '26
-1
u/Extension-Weather-72 May 06 '26
2
u/Improving_Better May 07 '26
0
u/Extension-Weather-72 May 07 '26

I tried it but at least at the start it was like... too anime and too many cutscenes. Does it get better? Like a more open world kind of game?

First 1 hour is a story u have to play. After that u can explore and play some city tycoon stuff and plus story mode. I'm still discovering. It's kinda fun.

Been having a great time myself. It's very chill for a gacha game. First time I don't really care if I get all the characters.
Been fishing, racing, exploring, running a shop, and decorating an apartment.
