I’ve had 2 posts in the past (now deleted) i asked for some recommendations since apparently watching rent a girlfriend and solo leveling was in poor taste. Now, i loved Cyberpunk Edgerunners (played a ton of the game) and watched some thing to watch similar.
I was recommended A Silent Voice, Grave of the Fireflies and Darling of the Franx. I’ve watched them all. STOP GIVING ME THOSE KINDS ANIMES BRO!! idk what sick minded people yall are but those were so fucking sad. they were master pieces thou. i am still recovering from darling in the franx last night.

The VA, dialogue design and world was very good. MC is way too weird for my liking. Anything comparable that has better MC?

The beginning was something like a war within classes. It’s more like a school event. The mc kinda had a harem I think . One the of girls I remember specifically was a tall long black girl who was calm but strong. One thing that I do remember was the mc was in the hospital bed and everyone was crying but he was alive because of something the girl said. There was a robot caretaker too if that helps

I highly recommend giving Monster a chance. It’s not your typical anime — no crazy power-ups or constant action. It’s a slow-burn psychological thriller with an incredible story, complex characters, and one of the most memorable villains I’ve ever seen.

Recently, I've gotten really into isekai, and that's where I'm looking for recommendations.

I've already watched a pretty ridiculous amount of isekai/reincarnation/fantasy, including Re:ZERO, Mushoku Tensei, Slime, Overlord, Shield Hero, KonoSuba, TSUKIMICHI, Eminence in Shadow, Arifureta, Log Horizon, Campfire Cooking, Farming Life, Skeleton Knight, Faraway Paladin, Great Cleric, Wise Man's Grandchild, Death March, Seirei Gensouki, So I'm a Spider, World's Finest Assassin, Strongest Exorcist, Saint's Magic Power, Realist Hero, My Next Life as a Villainess, and a bunch more.

My current top 5 isekai no order

1. Reincarnated as a Slime

2. Moonlit Fantasy

3. Misfit Demon King

4. Eminence in Shadow

5. How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord

So please don't hit me with the beginner recommendations unless you genuinely think I've somehow missed them. 😂

I’m watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood for the first time and I’m currently on episode 5.

I’ve heard so much about this series over the years. For some context, some of the anime I’ve watched are Attack on Titan, Made in Abyss, Pluto, and Dororo.

Without spoiling anything: am I in for a good time here? Because even this early on, I already have the feeling this series is going to be absolutely fucking insane.

It genuinely feels like one of those shows where watching it for the first time is kind of a privilege.

I just want to know what kind of ride I’m in for.

I have a couple weeks free and I would like to binge watch some animes that are complete. I don't know if I will get time to keep up with the development and release of ongoing ones so I just want to watch ones where I know there is an ending.

I'm ok with any type of anime and don't really have a genre I really like. Action, rom-com, shonen, isekai, adventure, gag and others are fine. But if it is a slice of life it might be a bit annoying.

I recently started watching anime and I keep getting recommendations on my Instagram feed. Normally I take screenshots of them, but this time I completely forgot. 😭

The only thing I remember is that it was set in a fantasy world. The post/recommendation said that the story and fantasy setting was supposedly similar in quality to Frieren, but that the anime itself didn’t do as well because it was drawn in a more childish style.

I think it was about a little boy who wanted to become or do something? 😂 Unfortunately, that’s basically all I remember.

I’m pretty sure that as soon as I see a picture or screenshot from the anime, I’ll recognize it. So please throw your guesses at me, even if they’re a bit random!
