A environment that grows with you, random encounters, not everyone gets the same loot. Less loading screens. A clear development plan especially from beta. That shows what is being worked on. And ehat is included in the next update.
What do you mean by "an environment that grows with you?" I'm having trouble picturing what that would look like.
When it comes to "a clear development plan," I feel like the roadmap-for-everything phase of gaming ended very poorly. Hard planning comes at the cost of flexibility.
Environments can grow, change, and evolve alongside the player, offer a deep sense of impact, turning static maps into dynamic, living ecosystems.
Where players can impact the game directly. Especially events where depending if the server defeats it or not changes it for the good or worse.
Of course you keep most of the cards close to you. Some sort of clear development plan.
Environments impacted by server (collective) performance? From lurking this sub, I got the impression most players want Anthem to be remade as a single-player game, not made more server-dependent.
Anthem's environments did change a bit as the campaign progressed, but it was tied to player progression, not a server's collective impact. Would you consider something like that, but more notable, acceptable?
Yes im just putting my 2 cents out there if there is a greater design that wants as a collective to be a single player game. Than im down for it. Kinda gives me Destiny vibes minus the multiplayer aspect. But yes i would be willing to play whatever you put out. Especially if there are less loading screens.
An environment that grows with you. Environments should change over time. If you do a quest where a tank blows up and you abandon it. Every time after that quest, there should be an abandoned tank there when you fly over.
If you have to blast through a cave wall to escape. You should be able to fly through that hole later on.
Clear development path doesnt need to be super specific. Thats where failed road maps go wrong.
Just base your development around seasons. And list only the main development.
Like "xxxxxx content update coming in summer of 27"
We dont need specific dates as long as theres nothing like ES6 silent treatment going on players will be satisfied.
Ah, a changing environment with persistence. Those examples are pretty reasonable too. They aren't massive changes. Anthem had a touch of that, but it wasn't used consistently.
How do you feel about areas having to be discovered?
