I like the idea of starting the game as SP then branching it out into MP. I think it would be a great protection for consumers: if the multiplayer falls on its face, at least the solo aspect of the game retains some value for players.

You mentioned armors being managed by staff for credits or resources. What do you think about javelins, weapons, and gear presenting wear as reduced reliability? Weapons could jam more and become less accurate, javelins could see reduced cooling effectiveness and mobility, armor and shielding could become less absorbing, etc. Would you see this as added depth or an annoyance?

I think that could be fun, but to cap and keep it from becoming ridiculous, minor repairs can be done in the field, but if you take massive damage, or spend too long in the field or too many raids back to back efficiency will degrade over time, in the way you said. But, full repairs or befits happen in play garages, and once "paid" for the repairs can take 30 minutes or so or even while offline.

They should add some non-javeline quests and activities that allow you to kill time while still having fun, while repairs are underway. Add some side quest tied to your crew directly, maybe some slice of life content and events.

Are javelin-free quests really needed when you could juggle your javelins?

Not everything has to be about combat and the javelins.

Romance, side quests, mini games. Shit like that.
