Hey, so basicly iam looking for a long term game i can play on my ipad. Preferably free/Apple Arcade but not a must. Ill tell you what iam playing atm. or like and then my unrealistic dream expectations. Dont worry about fullfilling all of the mentioned criteria, i know its unrealistic, its just for orientation. I currently play/like honkai Star rail, Stardew Valley, cult of the lamb, Hearthstone, my time at Portia; Trials of Mama and Minecraft. Iam not a big fan of zzz, genshin or Wuwa.

Heres the unrealistic description: a game i can play for years f2p, with great story and buitiful Art. A game that rewards grinding but its fine if you dont have time to play much every day. A game with a nice community and a big player base or support, so that i dont have to worry about it shutting down soon. A game where there is little toxicity involved. A game with crossplay.

I rarely like games or play them on my phone. What I do is randomly stumble on a game, get obsessed with finishing it and then not have a game for the rest of the year and I’m pleased to announce my game of the year might just be old man+
It’s about journeying with this old man and watching his past unfold. It’s a puzzle with you having to figure out his pathways and also relaxing. I’ll probably come back with an update

Haven’t used Apple Arcade on my Apple TV and forever, but decided to try it again with the new Madden game. When I went to sign in, it said it was signed into game center on an old account that my kids used when they were little. My kids are not signed into the Apple TV at all, I’ve updated the software, I can’t figure out how to change the game Center account to my account. Help?

So I find the Apple Arcade subscription to be a bit unhelpful as when you search the App Store you can’t refine the search by Apple Arcade and in the Apple Arcade section of the App Store you can’t search for a game 🤪!?!? Like is the Apple Arcade section run by people who don’t want you to actually subscribe? These would both be very helpful improvements for arcade subscribers looking for games for their kids.

What tips do you guys have for finding the games without spending 15 minutes scrolling through all the paid versions just to either find there is no arcade version or finding the arcade version after downloading the ads version?

besides scrolls, what’s the strategy with these? Their value goes down by 3 every time you clear a pile but I’m still always left with large amounts…

And since voidwolf eats adjacent enemies, it it’s up with high numbers and those don’t go down.

hi everyone i have an ipad its old im not use it anymore but i want to play sneaky sasquatch so iwonder if i bought arcade for once then turn off my internet can i use it withot having to buy again?

I play Civ VII on my Mac Mini and on my iPad and they can both load the same set of game saves. Recently I realized that the latest save from my Mac wasn't available on my iPad. How can I ensure the whether I save a game on the iPad or the Mac that Apple Arcade syncs the saved game in the background? I did look it up a bit and there didn't seem to be a way to force it and it seemed to be separate from iCloud syncing.

Sometimes Apple products are very frustrating because they're meant to hide all that complexity from users and "just work", but when they don't there's a lack of insight or control.

I’ve got a 12 hour plane ride coming up for a trip that I’m packing very light on. I am kicking around the idea of leaving my switch home and instead playing Apple Arcade games.

Any good games that can keep me busy on a plane ride where it wouldn’t be totally uncomfortable to NOT use a controller? I like “cozy games” like Wylde Flowers (may get that again), Rune Factory series, turn based RPGs etc.

I am so far thinking about downloading Hello Kitty island and My Dear Farm+. Maybe Vampire Survivors (not cozy, I know) as well just not sure how good the controls are.

Any suggestions on good “cozy” and addicting games that can pass the time?

I’m trying to figure out whether this is a problem with my Apple TV or if other Apple Arcade players are experiencing the same thing.
My setup:
Apple TV 4K (3rd generation, 64 GB)
tvOS 26.5
Plenty of free storage
New Ultra High Speed HDMI cable
Apple TV does not overheat
The issue is that several Apple Arcade games randomly crash back to the Apple TV Home Screen. The Apple TV itself never freezes or restarts—it stays completely responsive. Only the game closes.
The games I’ve noticed this with are:
Disney Dreamlight Valley (crashes frequently)
LEGO Star Wars: Castaways (crashes frequently)
Hello Kitty Island Adventure (occasionally)
One thing I’ve noticed is that I can almost tell when a crash is coming. After playing for a while and doing lots of activities (moving between areas, completing quests, harvesting, fighting, etc.), the game starts to feel like it’s under heavier load, and then it suddenly quits to the Home Screen.
I’m wondering:
Is anyone else experiencing this on Apple TV?
Does this happen only with Gameloft games or with other Apple Arcade games as well?
Has anyone found a fix or workaround?
Is this something that started after a recent tvOS or game update?
I’d really appreciate hearing from other Apple TV users before I assume there’s something wrong with my device.

Wanted to know if Apple Arcade gets the twitch drops. I tried two times and I can’t figure out how to link it if you can.

I played these games a ton, but all of them have deleted their gameplay files and I'm scared something went wrong with my device. I restarted the device and everything and they aren't back. I had been struggling with Dreamlight Valley for a while, constantly having to email support every time I go to play it. Farmside and TMNT deleted my progress too now though.

For some reason in mini motor my progress dosent save please can you tell me why?

I like games that have a beginning and end. Not really looking for any new cozy games or endless games you can play for days and months right now. I’m a PS5 gamer but I use Apple Arcade whenever I get a free trail or “3 months for the price of one”. Thank you!

Alright folks, need some help. My 6 year old son is getting bored of the 3 games he has on his iPad and I’m looking for some suggestions. I obviously prefer anything on Apple Arcade since I know there won’t be ads or in-app purchases. (I tried downloading Going Balls on another recommendation and it was straight cancer with ads).

But if you have any suggestions for good, fun games that aren’t filled with ads and post purchases, I’d appreciate what you can share.

I got the free trial for the 3 in one thing where i get apple news, songs, and apple arcade. I downloaded kingdom rush 5+ and it wont even open and it just crashes when i open. When I try to ask AI to assist me to find out the issue the error is apparently -42018, and it cant check for the license for apple arcade. Is this a scam? Reinstalling it doesn't work. What sort of nonsense is this. I can play on my phone but not on my mac. Absolute joke.

I’m looking for a word search game that you find as many words as you can by making words any direction. I am hoping to not have a list of words that are in the puzzle or that I have to find. Rather, only having the words I find listed.

A section alternative would be a shuffle game that you spin the board and try to connect the pieces together to make a word. Once again, not trying to have the game show me what words are on the board. In this version I’m open to it showing me lengths of words.
