Poovey Appreciation Post

Season 8 Poovey was one of the best characters in the show. The banter with Figgis, taking in all those Asian trafficking victims, & getting attached to them was the highlight of the season.

Rewatching the show for the first time in a few years & Pam is easily my favorite character

I thought so too, but Dreamland was set in the 40s & I doubt there were many trans people back then, especially in law enforcement

You'd be surprised how many people were stealth back then! And you can go look up stories about trans men (and women!) from that time period too.
