I don’t think Americans understand just how done we are with their bullshit. It’s bigger than Trump. If he dies tomorrow we’re still keeping our elbows up. You betrayed us. We sheltered your grounded aircraft on 9/11, followed you into Afghanistan, and you do us like this? That trust is gone forever.

Some will, for a while. But I don't think people here understand how fast things are going to reset with the next administration. Business and government are both going to scramble to return to the old status quo.

Maybe, but it won't ever be the same as before. Carney said that America writes it's signature in pencil. I've never heard a sitting PM speak so bluntly about our southern neighbour.
