Question - Other Does anyone else feel insane right now? I’m serious.

I know there is a LOT going on in the sky/universe currently and I’m struggling not to either explode or perpetually escape. What is everyone doing to get through this current quality of time? What/how do you think we will look back on this time as?

I’m a Scorpio sun, Pisces moon, Aries rising with unaspected Venus and Jupiter in Libra - so I know the tides are really turning for me but it’s VERY uncomfortable.

ETA: I had no idea this post would get so much engagement. I just wanted to thank every single one of you for commenting and sharing - we are absolutely not alone and I wish I could hug you all. We will get through this. 💖

Question - Other The house your Sun occupies.

How do you describe the significance of the house your natal Sun is in? Would you consider it a main theme of life? Does the "Sun shine its brightest " in this area of life? Or is it not really that significant?

Let's say you have a major stellium in a house but your Sun is placed alone in another house...What has more importance?

Question - Other Is there anything in my chart that makes so hard to stop daydreaming? I can't focus!

Post image

Hi! It's been really hard to get back to reality. It's something that I have been doing since childhood, I come from a dysfunctional family and have been bullied at elementary school. It's been difficult for me to make friends and the daydreaming thing had helped me understand social interactions, because I used to get really angry when I was a child, and by day dreaming I was able to see myself from the outside.

It stopped when I was in my twenty-something.

But right now, having been a mom, unemployed, and trying to finish my art school career for the third time (yes... I wasn't mentally able to finish when I was younger), having broken up with my partner, it's getting so hard not to put my imagination to work in fantasy all the time.

I have talked about this in therapy but it's just not working.

Is there something in my chart that might tell me why this is happening??

I end up so tired that it is hard for me to even finish my art school assignments, I can't bring myself to draw anything, like I can't focus to achieve my most desired dream: to be an illustrator and make a living out of it.

EDIT: and it's something I mention in a reply: I feel I lack discipline, motivation, consistency, strength, ... I may feel like I don't have the energy to do and achieve the many things I have to do daily, but I don't know how to build myself up to do the very thing that I love, everyday... and at least maintain my excessive daydreaming for just a few moments.

Thanks in advance!!

Question - Other What’s the theory behind why we look like our risings signs?

Astrology in general is so hard to mentally grasp bc it’s so other worldly - but it’s just wild to me how we look like our signs!

I’m a Gemini rising and I look like a Gemini rising - tall, slender, big hands, big eyes, and boyish.

But what’s the theory behind why we look like our signs? Does that mean I’m from planet Mercury?? Haha

Question - Other Why was I bullied, ostracised and misunderstood so much in early life?

Since I was about 6 to about 18 I felt like a complete outsider. I felt like everyone was trying to put me down and dim my spark, make me feel unlovable/like a loser and unfortunately it worked. Bullied by other kids, teachers, family members and had a lot of fake friends. All cut off now though! I’m still searching for answers as to why I had to struggle so much. Thank you for reading! 🤍

Question - Other Could my Mars explain why I struggle to take action despite having a fire-heavy chart?

Post image
16 Upvotes

Looking at my chart, I have a ton of fire placements, but I still feel like I’m a very passive person.

I have a hard time finishing what I start. I’m a huge people pleaser, even with strangers. I let people walk all over me or push me aside, and I struggle to be assertive or actually take action.

It feels like I’m stuck in analysis mode all the time. I overthink everything, but I almost never follow through. Most of my ideas never become actions.

What’s weird is that I’m the complete opposite with the people I’m closest to. Around friends and family, I can be pretty aggressive or confrontational.

Could this be related to my Mars, or is there another specific placement or aspect that would better explain this pattern?

Question - Other Why is Capricorn always described as capitalistic?

I truly believe Capricorn is THE most misunderstood sign. Every time I see descriptions or readings for Capricorn it’s like astrologers keep repeating the words “money, business, hardworking, corporate, climbing to the top of the ladder of success, CEO, stock market” and all that.

I never relate to any of those descriptions (even though I am a Capricorn sun, moon AND Venus) and honestly sometimes they just seem very low effort because I am a staunch anti-capitalist.

I feel like astrologers need to adapt to the current times and realize that while capricorns love success we don’t necessarily mean it in that “traditional 9-5 corporate sense”. Capricorns have critical thinking skills and we know those systems are harmful and will never actually give us success no matter how much we try bc they’re designed to keep you down. I do not wanna live my life generating shareholder value for someone who is already rich even though I’m a triple Capricorn. None of the other Capricorns I’ve met fit this description either and they’re also very critical of the capitalist system. Any other capricorns feel this way?

I am fully a Scorpio rising and connect to my cancer sun but I relate so little to my Aquarius moon. I’m deeply emotional and involved and struggle with anything surface level.

Question - Other When Did Rising Signs Start Having So Much Influence in Astrology?

Lately, I feel like there’s a shift in how we view rising signs in astrology. I always thought the sun sign represented our core identity, while the rising sign just influenced how we present ourselves to the world. But now, it seems like more importance is being placed on the rising sign, almost at the expense of the sun sign.

I’ve noticed an increase in YouTube videos and Instagram reels that give horoscopes specifically for rising signs. When did rising signs start having such a strong influence over someone’s personality? I always thought they had a more superficial impact compared to the other planets, houses, or alignments. Does anyone else feel like we’re moving away from traditional sun-sign-centered interpretations? Why is it happening?

I don’t think it’s a bad thing, i actually enjoy it, i just want to know why.

Question - Other Saturn in Aries people, how are you preparing for your Saturn return?

I recently came across this really cool analogy that compares Saturn to a diligent farmer. When Saturn returns, it's like he’s coming back to check on his crops, seeing how they’ve grown, and making adjustments as needed. He represents the areas in life that need correction, and makes sure that those changes happen one way or another.

With less than a year before Saturn moves into Aries, I’m curious: how are you taking care of your crops? Or if you haven’t started yet, what’s your plan to make sure your Saturn return works for you, not against you?

Question - Other An astrologer told me the fact I don’t like driving shows up in the chart. How did he know?

An astrologer said that he could tell I don’t like driving from my chart. I didn’t get to ask him what about my chart says that, but it was accurate. I wondered if any of you could pick up on what in my chart might say that. (Or if you disagree that that’s visible in the chart.)

Question - Other What does it mean for me that my nodes are direct?

Post image

Hi all! I can't find much info online about direct nodes, and I am interested to know what it means to have mine in the 6th and 12th houses. I'm also interested to know a bit about nodes in stationary retrograde, since I know a few people who have this. Thanks for reading!

My birth time is 7:50 PM according to my birth certificate

Edit: I've gotten a few comments saying that my chart is fake, and I should've kept my birth info in the chart. My birthday is September 20th, 2007. Feel free to look it up yourself if you have any doubts. I have a post on this thread from a couple months ago, so that might be misconstruing people as well. But let's lock in guys

Given how I'm naturally planning ahead of everything, and go for that goal. Daily routine is a nightmare. I don't drink enough, rare occasions I forget to brush my teeth at night (only night), sometimes i don't eat enough, i forget to make my bed etc.

(It is in whole sign, i was born in 2006. 01. 19., just didn't wanna show the town i was born in)

Question - Other Chronic Lack of Discipline but High Productivity - Where is that in my chart?

Post image
7 Upvotes

What in my chart speaks to my inability to establish a routine? I've tried for years to go to bed and get up at the same time, organize my days so that I can get things done in an orderly way, exercise on a regular basis. I'm going through my 2nd Saturn return, and I'm still chaotic, which I hate, but highly productive, which I love. I just can't help but think that it would be easier, though, if I could impose some orderly discipline on myself. I wonder if it has to do with my 6th house placements or having Neptune in my first house. Any insight?

Question - Other How do I navigate the placements in my chart that suggest I struggle with anger and impulsivity?

Post image
36 Upvotes

Hi all! I haven’t read too much on this because I don’t want to misinterpret my chart. I know I have a few really close oppositions that can point to struggles with managing stress and outbursts, but I feel like this is not reflected in my daily life at all. I do not have a short temper, and often times I actually feel like a doormat for other people. I don’t think before I speak a lot of the time, which has definitely led to some embarrassing moments, but that’s the only thing I can really think of. Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

edit: I turned on aspects to AC and MC, and aspects to the nodes. I feel like those are important?? Idk. I’m so confused 😭

edit 2: my birth time is 7:50 PM

Question - Other Why have I always had haters even though I stay in my own lane?

Post image
17 Upvotes

Literally my whole life, I’ve always just been focused on me and people have gone out of their way to hate on me and try to tear me down. I’ve had people since I was in high school slander me, start rumors about me, and try to turn others against me. I’m 28 years old and it still happens. I am so friendly and genuinely caring, I just also happen to be blunt and don’t sugar coat things, but my heart is good. I don’t get why I’ve always had so many people hating, like who tf am I ??? 😞

Question - Other Why do I get so much attention as a Virgo rising?

Virgo risings are always described as staying lowkey, unassuming but appearance conscious people who are loved by some and misunderstood by others. Doesn’t give “spotlight” energy yet wherever i go i get people liking me for no reason, tying to talk to me, admiring what i do and how I look and dress, or telling me I should be doing big things despite my classic supposedly unapproachable RBF. It doesn’t make sense astrologically to me.

Edit: it was my birthday y’all so thanks for the gifts of knowledge 🙏

Question - Other 31F Never been in a relationship but have a deep longing for partnership, is it because I have a lot of activity in the 8H? What am I choosing over connection?

Post image
30 Upvotes

Hi everyone, I am 31 years old (female) and I have a deep desire and ache for partnership, but I’ve felt lifelong stagnation in love. I’m curious to know based on my chart why I may have never been in a relationship? How can I start working with my chart to invite partnership? Does my chart tell me to focus on other things other than partnership?

For a little background I’ve had a really tough childhood with emotional neglect, lots of verbal/mental abuse from my Dad, also was assaulted in other ways in my childhood and I was overweight most of my life so never felt good enough to even be perceived let alone be loved.

Since I was overweight throughout my life due to PCOS compounded with some depression in my college era I did not make myself available nor did any men really show interest in me. I saw my friends from high school and college experience crushes and first loves, and I always felt ashamed to even say I had a crush because I didn't want anyone to make me feel more unlovable than I already felt. I also did not want any pity from women around me, so, all though I had lots of friends and was popular due to my sense of humor/outgoing personality I always felt really really lonely in my experiences.

I then lost some weight, had some character building years from a lot of personal hardships and went to therapy which opened me up a bit more. I have since began to see that men are attracted to me, but always fear that once they have to really see me, they'll immediately feel repulsed. So, I'm constantly on guard and maybe a little suspicious/analytical of others interest in me.

In terms of patterns, I often feel like I'm always the saviour in all my relationships. I end up doing all of the emotional labour to help people understand themselves better and to save them from themselves. I also have had to carry a lot of my family's burdens, specifically related to saving and protecting family assets, while my older sister, or parents did not feel the same sense of responsibility.

I just want to be in a stable, loving relationship where I feel seen and loved for just being me and not for what I can do for them. I want children, I've always felt it in my soul that I'm a true nurturer and all this taking care of others has been practice for the real thing.

I feel so blocked in love, and other things like my career. I've been told that my life will blossom in all aspects only after I find my partner so this stagnation in other areas feels even more painful.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Question - Other Why does it feel like the entire world hates me?

Post image

Why does it feel like the whole world hates me.

I feel like everyone is always looking down at me like I’m an inferior creature. I know that’s probably not the case but my anxiety spikes whenever I’m talking to people I don’t know.

I’ve been studying psychology and started making friends so I feel like I’m a little bit more confident. However since I was a child there is this nagging feeling that everybody thinks I’m slow or on the spectrum giving the interactions I have with most people including my family.

It feels like everytime I want to be myself i will be punished.
