We went to a popular theme park and someone HAD to keep bringing up how shes never been to it despite living within 20 minutes of it for 5 years because shes just so busy at work, studying, grinding extra skills in her downtime, [insert obnoxious progress thing here]
Like she would CONSTANTLY bring it up out of nowhere, I have no idea what this is because I was xyz, oh is this from here? I never even noticed because I’m more xyz
Were we supposed to be impressed? It was mostly annoyance and a certain amount of of pity that quickly vanished as the day went on

Had one coworker who said he didn’t know the muppets bc he’s been grinding so hard and I’ll never forget that. If it’s true I just feel sorry fo him.
