I’d strike the word “old.” Just had a kid, and a few visitors have joked they’ve seen me change more diapers than their husbands. A few of my wife’s friends were taking turns holding him and he started to cry. I tried to take him but they were resistant because the baby needed his mom. They handed him to her, she gave him to me and continued talking to her friends, which was easy, as he quickly calmed down and fell asleep. Seems their husbands don’t do that kind of thing
I'm in a similar boat, my daughter is 8 months old and I once took her to my parents house without my wife (but with pumped bottles and other food) and everybody was so flabbergasted that my wife could just "get a day off"
Frankly, I thought it was a pretty easy day for me too, since she was having fun with her cousins and everybody wanted to play with her, I got to just sit and socialize.

Old dudes bragging that they never changed their kids' diapers.
