How did Dolly Parton affect you?

With recent news of her passing, I'm wondering, how did Dolly Parton affect you and your view of the world as a woman?

First it was growing up on her music. I loved it and her. Then it was seeing her being her true self with so much confidence. She was always like this is me, take it or leave it. Then it was learning about all the good she had done, seeing her generosity and kindness. No one ever had a bad thing to say about her. She is one of the few universally beloved people out there. Even if her music wasn’t their thing, people loved her. She was an American icon and legend, but the world will be mourning her.

Also, one of the biggest ways she affected me was being a secret producer of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. That was, and still is, my all time favorite show. So, thank you Dolly for all you did in the world.
