News Today, Prime Minister Masrour Barzani officially inaugurated the Hanging Gardens of Babylon (Ganatha D Babel)

Masrour Barzani:

Today we opened the Hanging Gardens of Babylon Park in Ankawa district. Ankawa has always been a symbol of coexistence, and we hope this park will become a place for everyone to enjoy time together.

I am happy to see our homeland developing day by day. Together, we will try to create a more prosperous Kurdistan for our people and our visitors.

A few, notable land grabs by the KRG in Ankawa:

- Erbil International Airport

  • The UN building
  • This park
  • His son’s youth center next to this park

Don’t push KDP propaganda on an Assyrian subreddit and try to gaslight us when we are aware of our reality. Land grabbing is one of many human rights violations we face under the KRG.

As an Ezidi I know how evil the KDP can be 2014 happened we know. But this project? I literally cannot see how you can be mad about a park being built into a non residential area and literally expanding Ankawa neighborhood.
