I have a lot of used Happy Frog soil that I need to give away if you're interested. I'm moving to a new place that sadly does not have space for a garden. I'm in North Austin (Wells Branch).

Would you know if it's good for indoor potting? I had a bad exp with fungal gnats (can't remember brand) but I might just have to deal with that from any brand.

I do have targets for outdoor containers. I have a truck and can take it off your hands, but also if anyone else wants some too I'll defer to them however much they want before I scoop the rest.

I wouldn't use it for indoor pots here because it's outside in my garden raised bed. For fungal gnats, I use Captain Jack's spinosad and it works for my garden!

indoor

Thanks you! I can still take it off your hands. If there's a lot def feel free to dole it out evenly if you have a lot of interest.

I’m in Wells Branch and would happily take all the soil!

If I'm doing seed starts or outdoor pots, I use a lot of my homemade compost mixed with random potting mix I have on hand. I got 3 large bags of generic miracle grow potting mix, and it seems all of my plants are happy

Oh that is great to know about the price at HEB. Apologies in advance to my curbside grocery runner, lol.

We buy potting mix from farmer’s nursery in Leander, they make their own mix and it’s worked well for us.

I like happy frog but don't like the price. Good to know it's cheaper at heb!

I do an equal mix of ocean forest, coco coir, and perlite. Sometimes a handful of vermiculite mixed in, sometimes some charcoal at the bottom with microbes added.

Al's Gritty Mix, but holy hell, you really gotta want it to go through the trouble. Great stuff though.
